The New York City Skyline; or rather - Manhattan skyline. And a little more from Manhattan. If you are curious about specific location in the video send a question in the comments section below and I will answer. Recorded November 2015 (couple of clips in December) in 4K (Ultra HD) with Sony AX100.

This video film of Manhattan and New York is bewitchingly superb. Beautiful and eye catching screenplay providing close-ups of skyscrapers and spectacularly panoramic views, as well. It's a feast for the eyes and shrouds one of the most densely populated urban conglomerates in the world. But the most remarkable thing about this latest (High Definition) footage is its evocatively cool background music, that is something in sharp contrast with the super fast and ultra-furious music of this era. The playback music is bred with a sublimely touching music score that is also punctuated with oriental folk lyrics in between its cool symphony. Somewhere, there are sweet vocals of an English song to add to its holistic aura. Hats off to the composer of this audio video who has exhibited maturity and sagacity in the selection of wonderful background music that moves the spirit of the audience as they progress with watching this gem of a footage.

A very low lying waterfront. The one billion Big-U wall will protect from another Sandy, which did 19 billion in damage, and could have done a lot more except for the quick thinking a few transit employees. After this defense, there is Bloomberg's 20 billion sea wall system, with a wall across the Narrows; another between Staten Island and New Jersey, and another across the Long Island Sound. NYC, like so many other east coast cities is highly vulnerable to ocean rise, but unlike most other communities can afford to respond with such projects. But note, that after about 20 feet of ocean rise, all bets are off. Current thinking is that BAU means an irreversible inciting of the feedback loops, insuring that a multi-meter rise is quite possible in the 22nd century.

There is something sublimely beautiful about the skyline of New York City, especially as its photographed here. Stunning And the song in the second half is magnificent. Part Folk, Part Pop, just lovely. Manhattan is essentially a series of small villages, especially if you walk the borough. From Turtle Bay to the East Village to Harlem, its a pretty remarkable place. And the people, oftentimes maligned, I have always found to be very kind.

0: 50 Nice skyline from a distance2: 30 Looks ugly. New York needs to learn that more is not nececessarily better. When you are at ground level, you can't see the sky in different directions because it is clustered with buildings. There are an optimal number of buildings beyond which point it just looks like a concrete jungle.

I've been here plenty of times visiting my family that didn't move down to Florida. Sad to see that my house down here in Florida is about the cost of 8-10 great apartments in NY, probably a house. Maybe in the future I can go back, Florida seems like a drain to me. I feel more like a city-type person.

Hi, I just discovered your film and it's really beautiful I wish one day I can go to New York. We can see this city in many films and series but still it's really cool to see it from a specific point of view more personal. Some buildings are so huge. Best regards from France

how long is that skyline of buildings did you know if you can shoot a level line across these buildings that line would be level on all of them according to nasa there should be a little drop due to the curvature but there is not just a little more proof of a flat earth
