Kai Tak, you're showing your age Noel! On domestic US flights, I tend to be in the back of the plane, & I always seem to feel that the extra cost never really justifies paying the extra. The snacks are nice but they would probably cost you about 10 dollars, so it comes down to the comfort of the seat, & luckily I'm 5' 7'', so I can squeeze into a normal seat, but if I was taller or larger, I might need the extra room.

United has gone downhill over the last few years. If you are in first class you should not be paying for internet. I flew them at the end of March and really noticed how they have changed. I was in first class as well. I did get the stoopwaffles and they are delicious. You can get them on Amazon and there are multiple companies that make them.

It's a goddamn crime that Lindburgh Field still doesn't have a rail connection to downtown SD. =(
Also sad to see that domestic first class is still mostly blegh. I miss Virgin America -- it wasn't lie-flat but it was still by far the best domestic first class product that was guaranteed on EVERY flight, not just transcon.

Your videos are the most detailed by far, and I enjoy watching them, as you travel across the world. What I find most amazing is how you find out the age of the plane that you are about to travel on. That takes a good detail of research. How does one find out that information ahead of a flight? Thank you for your videos!

I searched this video because I bought my first ever first class ticket. The upsell was only $114, so I thought why not, since I always wanted to try first class at least once. After watching this video, I guess I shouldn't expect much. They don't even have a T. V. for first class?

This may sound like a silly question but Ive always been intrigued as to how much you can actually do with onboard WiFi. are you able to access features like face time and imessage? Or is that banned/in the same bracket as making a normal signal phone call/sending a normal text message

I flew united from Chicago too Phoenix economy plus on an A320 Airbus back in 2018 we had a 2 hour delay but it was no big deal too me the crew was incredibly nice the pilot even invited me up in the cockpit and showed me the controls of an A320 I was very satisfied with united

Other than the ease of passing through the airport, I thought this flight was crap! A first class fare. and you got a kids snack box for a meal! Then to have no IFE! I know United wont go bankrupt not having my business, but they wont be my first choice for first class travel.

Hahahaha. i don't know how you United airlines can call your recent flight, first class. You were given a box containing several biscuits and muffins on board without any form of IFE entertainment and that is first class. I only see premium economy service right there. lol.

Hey Noel. another awesome video, and as a UA employee, good to see you had a great experience. re the entertainment, I'm sure you know this, but that depends on the plane you were on that day, on that route, not so much on the route. you should come fly with us, LHR based crews.

I liked the San Diego Airport, except during the 3 months I lived right next to it. Hearing planes leaving at all hours wishing I was on one. But it is all a part of the Marine Corps experience. Thank you for your videos and keep them coming!

In my experience United has been the worst US airline. I fly coach and the aircraft are densely packed, the cabin crew was mildly abusive and the ground crew was atrocious. I had better experience on Air India and Birman than on United

I fly SFO to TPA next month on United I was going to book first class but after seeing this vid Im not paying an additional $750 for basically a slightly larger seat. thats it!
Ill just buy the drinks & crap snack box in coach.

I actually prefer United when flying here in the United States. Its close between them, Delta and Southwest in my opinion. United has always had really good customer service from my personal experience. Always willing to help.

Oh, I've done that Chicago-San Diego trip so many times. Love San Diego. The San Diego airport is looking really good these days. MUCH better than it used to be. And O'Hare is still the crap hole it always has been. LOL!

Im so glad this mask nonsense is done with on most flights. Anyone worried about a bug would not in any way shape or form have taken it off in order to eat/ drink. The whole thing was just nonsense

Meh, united first class is pretty terrible in my experience. I'll snag it as an upgrade if it's cheap enough but it's definitely not worth paying any note than say $50-100 over economy.
