Also notice how chatty everyone is with each other. It's something I hear mentioned all the time. Americans love to talk to people they've never met before or even know the name of. Which makes me think, if we talk so much to each other that it's mentioned by foreigners, I can only believe that most of everyone outside of the US is cold and distant with each other.
As already said throughout the comments, good that you got to see real America. The people you met in that town are the ones who make sure the people in the cities get to live in those cities. And the speech you gave on your flight out. I'm not gonna lie. I cried. It's just nice to see more foreigners get to experience what us Evil rural Americans are actually like and understand we are just as nice, kind, and humble as anyone else. We just want to be left alone and live our lives as best we can. And while I don't know any of them, I can assure you that just as you will never forget them and the time you spent with them, they'll never forget you either. Like the man said, he remembered an Englishman he'd met over 25 years ago and clearly, never kept up with. He'll do the same with you.
Gotta say though, when you called a glider a drone, I died a little inside XD

Lovely people in small town USA. They are the reason I always rather live in a small town. but not too far from the big city.
When traveling often to the Palm Springs airport from LAX I always used Sunair and their Metroliners.
One time, after a long overnight flight from overseas to LAX, I was waiting my connection on Sunair when I was called to the boarding gate counter. I had bokked, as always, seat no. 1, right behind the door, as there was a whole lot of leg roon there, and the airline rep asked me if I would mind giving the seat away, which I absolutely refused.
When I boarded I saw, seating immediately behind me, the former president Gerald Ford, one secret service man behind him and another by my side across the isle. Ford lived at the country club next door to the one where I lived.
I felt lucky that I didny live in a Latin American country, where I wouldny have been asked and my seat would have simply been given to the ex-prsesident and I would have been booked on the next flight. maybe.

Wow wow wow! So crazy that you flew to Nebraska! Thats my home state and homeland and thats just the prime example of how the people of Nebraska are, just friendly and welcoming, and will do anything to help you out at all times haha. The Nebraska panhandle isnt anything special, but the people are and Im just proud to be from Nebraska. The weather however. is flipping FREEZING in the winter. Im pretty used to it being from there but it does get quite cold. What a flight too! Im going to have to try that airline!

Link Airways operates these in and out of major airports to regional towns along the south east coast here in Australia much like Rex with the Saab340 but with a far smaller fleet and area coverage. Each time i see one parked up as i pass by their hub on the way to do some plane spotting in Brisbane i always laugh at the shape of their nose. reminds me of a goofy 90's cartoon character.

I can't get over how large that airport is for such a small number of passengers. The terminal is small, but the airport looks huge. Understandable, given its history. And, so many personnel. Security, snowplows, runway personnel. Seems the airport has more employees than passengers. Which is cool too: )

I particularly love that a bunch of the fine citizens of Alliance are in the comment section. One of the things about small town USA is how happy people are to show you around. Seems like they appreciate folks coming to see their area just as much as you appreciate getting to see it.

Previous to this video, I watched your Air Guerrero experience which you found to be scary. Denver Air seemed much more safe and pleasant for you. But looking at stats, on 14 April 2022 Denver Air's Metroliner N820DC had a nose gear malfunction and collapse after an aborted takeoff at Denver. Last time Aero Guerrero had an accident was in 2013, and that was an impact with terrain likely due to a storm.

You have evoked so many memories. I have flown on metroliners many times, mainly around regional South Australia where they still fly. The generosity of Americans in remote locations is priceless. And speaking of Bob and Carol, my dad once sold the front door of his shop in the Tottenham Court Road to an American named Lawrence because the 100 y. o. door was named Lawrence.

Wow how cool to see you fly DAC! I used them a lot to fly from Grand Junction CO to Denver for my Cancer treatment. They did not land at DIA but to Centennial just in sothern Denver at a semi privet airport. Sad but DAC stopped flying from Grand Junction CO but now if have to go I drive to Denver. Love the vids, Keep it up! Stay safe!

I absolutely loved this video, I think it's the best video that Noel has made. The people in this video are the embodiment of what America is really like and who we really are. Noel did a great job of capturing that in this video and he showed off a really unique aircraft on an usual airline which made the video even better!

Continental used to fly those out of the small formerly county airport in Plattsburgh NY. in the late 90's, early 2000's. I had the pleasure of flying aboard twice, once for a trip to Jamaica and another for a trip to Florida. They used to make the run from Plattsburgh to Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo and Albany, NY.

Hahhahahaha the guy asking if you know a Bob from London! I had the exact same thing when I went to Florida when I was 15, sat next to this big lady on the way to Seaworld, asking me if I knew a Geoff from Blackpool. Like, no Im from Sheffield, its a bit of a trek. They think we're all one village.

If you think that is a poor weather condition, try landing at Adak, Alaska or Dutch Harbor, both on the Aleutian Chain. In the winter you can face 60mph winds, -40 degree temperature and weathered in for several weeks. This is normal weather and the temperature and the wind both will get rougher.

When I first moved from Ireland to the US, I lived in Sidney, Nebraska which is just south of Alliance. The people there welcomed me like I couldn't believe. Absolutely lovely people who would do anything for you. Glad to see the same hospitality was extended to you too.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. It was heart warming to see how much the locals made you welcome. It was good to see you interacting with people. It would be nice to see more interaction with locals of the places you visit. I do though enjoy your videos regardless.

Awesome video! Good wholesome salt of the earth people in Nebraska! My wife and I broke down in the middle of nowhere Nebraska before cell phones and a farmer rescued us and drove us 70 miles out of his way to get us to our family that was camping!

One of the most enjoyable video. Lovely town and the people there are wonderful. Theres not many places you can trust someone who offers a lift to a stranger. (look at the taxi driver in India. You can see how humbled you were at the end.
