Onboard Europe's MOST LUXURIOUS Business Class Nadine: Ireland has had the longest lockdown in Europe and because Dublin Airport was a hub for European traffic to the USA this has fallen off a cliff because of the Non-Essential Travel restrictions we have come to a standstill 15 months ago Dublin Airport at 5. 30AM was hectic usually flights all over to Europe you could get a full Irish breakfast and shop to your hearts content now you can't even get a coffee! Aer Lingus usually has full service on all their flights but due to restrictions, it's stopped. We can not wait to be able to travel so sorry your experience was not as good as it should have been Noel love your videos

Stunning spacious cabin in the Aer Lingus Business Class on the NEO, not the shortest Business Class flight in Europe, but its definitely the best by far.
Aer Lingus Business Class, 45 inch seat pitch and a lay flat bed, British Airways Business Class on the same route, 30 inches with no bed.
In fact, on the Aer Lingus NEO, economy passengers get more leg room than British Airways European Business Class passengers.

My very first airline flight was in 1980. Aer Lingus, very early morning flight from London to Dublin. I think it was a Boeing 737. I'll never forget coming in off the Irish Sea, the plane banked over Dublin, the lights of the city sparkling in the post dawn. It was wonderful. Nearly certain they served a breakfast on that flight. In economy.

Ohhh boy! Noel you got me so hyped to fly with Aer Lingus to Malaga from Dublin, on the 27th of July with the Airbus A330! Dublin Airport looks empty and quite Ireland is scheduled to open there borders on the 19th of July cant imagine how packed its gonna be when I go. Overall nice trip report and thanks for flying Aer Lingus! :P

I once flew first class on a Malaysia Airlines 737-200 from KL to Kuantan. All of 40 mins flying time. Service was great all the same. Back then first class passengers stayed in the lounge until the last minute and only boarded once everyone else was onboard and the plane was ready for push back.

Seat guru question. Seat guru website highlights the throne seats on Aer Lingus A321neolr as green (therefore better than the other business seats) but doesn't highlight them as green on the A330-300 even though it is the same seat. Is the A321neolr seat slightly different from the A330-300 seat?

Ah, memories of arriving in a quiet fairly quiet Dublin Airport after flying across the Atlantic for the first time, knowing we would have normally been going to bed around the time we arrived. Fun video!

I looked at the AL flights from MAN-NYC but its really expensive. Esp in a narrow body jet I just think its too much money. Hopefully prices will come down a bit. For now I would rather fly MAN-LHR-NYC.

Love the videos just wandering how do you afford all these flights and how do you stay away from your family for such log periods of time genuinely love the vid keep up the good work

Amazing how empty the airport looks. Ive been lucky enough to have visited three airports in Mexico and the US last month, and there was a lot people using them already

The definition of frustration: Lovely business class seat but only for an hour and no service. Nonetheless, Noel. There are worse ways to get home. :-) thanks for sharing.

These almost deserted airports are so hard to comprehend, when Ive been overseas you can almost be stampeded to death when they announce they are boarding.

Hi Noel! Another great video and trip as usual! Have you ever thought of doing an AMA video, whether recorded or live? I have so many questions lol.
reply

Not surprised with the empty airport at all, considering you flew in on an empty A330 that morning from the US. Hope things get back to normal.

It's raining in London. what a surprise.
The colour on the uniform of the cabin crew is really nice. Good selection on someone's part.

BA flies a few narrow bodies (ex-BMI) with the earlier version of these business seats. Ive done the last row throne seat on a few occasions.

Its should be FIRST CLASS like this all the times, but question is: HOW MUCH IT WILL COST? HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL FLY? Answer is. BANKRUPTCY

Last video was thinking why Noel fried to Dublin rather than Manchester or Heathrow, now I get it, Aer Lingus decor looks so beautiful!
reply

Don't know why but when noel arrived at the gate I honestly thought that the gate was the same 1 he was at when he left for Australia
reply

Aer Lingus are starting to use the A321neo on flights from Dublin to Paris, Rome and Lanzarote later in the summer also.
