Outsome your videos man Just a tip if you would like: try let the flames not touch your burgers or bacon this is toxic, so let some centimeters or 1 or 2 inchs above the points of flames The heat will be as high as with flames but without intoxicate the meat. Believe me here we are almost experts in barbecues, churrasco really, as we named our secular barbecues Great video as always, your meals and beers make me mouth watering come on: ) Thank you and hugs from far away: )

Dropping the wick in to your storm lantern sucks, Especially in the field, if it happens it is easier to just replace the wick because trying to get the wick back out of the reservoir is an exercise in futility, I always carry spare wick, you can buy it by the meter, I love my Lamp, they give such a nice comforting light, nice post mate, all the best.

Hey Mike, ive notice that in your videos you never use gloves or safety glasses when your Bushcrafting, ive seen orher Bushcrafters get cuts and hit in the eyes from hanging branches, to be on the safe side they might benefit you in the long run be safe have fun I enjoy all your videos take care enjoy the woods.

I understand it may not be my place to ask this but what region of the UK do you camp in? Where I live way up in the north we don't have much woodland, Northumberland National Park and the North Pennines is about all I have to work with, I mean it's not exactly a small area, but compared to somewhere like Algonquin

Loved this one mate those grills are essence aren't they great vid Mike just watched some of you dads ones too awesome stuff only problem is UK is so restrictive with this wild camping ban and I cant just drive up to Scotland to have an overnighter, pity really anyways great vid keep them coming mate, Phil

My wife and I love to sit and watch the videos you post. We sit through them to the end. We really enjoy them and the wife likes them as she gets to see England. I was born there and lived a lot of my life in the UK. She asked if you ever go out with someone else and show a newbie how it is done?

Your tuck to seal off a draft will direct water running off the tarp into your shelter. Unpack your sleeping bag well before retiring so it can regain its loft and keep you warm. If you are worried about bugs, shake out the bag before crawling in. Pro tip -- ditch the bag for a lighter quilt.

I own that same grill. Very nice. For the best results, cook over a bed of hot coals, not open flames. Boil water over open flames. It is too hard to control the heat when cooking over open flames and you are more likely to burn the outside of the meat and the inside will be raw.

What an awesome spot. Shame about the lantern. I have a question about those lanterns. with such high output, low draw LED lights available, why use something so bulky that also needs liquid fuel? Is it just for the ambiance? It definitely sets a mood.
