I head to the bushcraft camp with a subscriber. We get a cooking fire going and cook spit roast deer meat (venison) over the fire. We use the usual bushcraft axe and knife to prepare a spit roast and gather fire wood

Traps with brass eyelet's added along edeges abd a few through the middle. Paracord flat pieces with a loop to tie paracord to on each side of tarp with brass eyelet's in the center to help the tarp keep it's shape. Thread paracord through brass eyelet's to form a bag and fill bag with plant material or dirt lace up tarp bag has you fill it. Have a support structure for the bag say like an A frame fill bag's on each side bind down with paracord to support structure for side's of A frame shelter. Add another tarp bag with a rock added to each corner then place over the crest. You can cut tarp's and make tarp bags for the front and back panel's and add in a protective sleeve for a stove pipe. A earth bag shelter system that you can reuse. You could even use a tarp bag for the floor of the shelter allowing you to camp on snow and to get you off the ground and keep dry.

Right now, the biggest single threat from development to ancient woodland is the HS2 rail project. Up and down the country ancient woods and trees face the axe to make way for the high speed train line. Currently 108 ancient woods are threatened with loss or damage from both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project. IF YOU LOVE WOODLAND, please go out an support support the woodland trust an complain any where and everywhere you can

Mike put the potatoes in cold water. They will raise evenly with the water temp and will cook evenly. About 20 mins for that size potato. Pierce with fork to check done ness. Noting worse that a hard center. Otherwise you can cook for me anytime. LOL Keep sharing your adventures. Would love to see Jax a bit more often. He is so mischevious.

Broken Hand Shelter Challenge: Unfortunately you broke one hand in a hiking accident. You have one day to build your shelter before night falls. You can use your arm, just not your hand. You can carry objects in the pit of your arm. As long as your hand or wrist does not touch what you are doing, you will be fine.

This video just made me hungry I was in the hospital for 10 days, just got out 3 days ago and i haven't been able to eat solid foods since before I went in, trying to avoid another surgery, so I'm so jealous of that venison, carrots, and undercooked potatoes. Sometimes simple just tastes the best.

If I'm correct you're using pine wood right? Do you have termites up there that eat the wood apart? Here in florida most of all the useful downed pine is just ate up with termites. Love the videos man. I've got my own super shelter going with my buddy. You've encouraged me much.
