Hey AdventureEveryday. Cool video! Heading west in both filmed legs - real beautiful. Was not even of aware of this route before your video. Missed it when I was out there.
I am heading back and bringing family who have never seen the region, and after your video, I HAVE TO add byway 12 in there somehow. (trip is denver start/vegas end)
So after your video, thinking this reworked order: Denver, arches/Canyonlands, monument valley, south rim of Grand canyon, antelope, zion, then byway 12 for bryce and capital reef, then vegas.
So hopefully starting 89 junction and finishing in Torrey is just as beautiful as your westward trip. Thanks for the inspiration!

The Bryce and Red Canyon areas are gorgeous. We hiked the trails down in Bryce Canyon and did a horseback ride thru Red Canyon back in 2008. This should be on everyone's bucket list. We've done the Moab area four times now. But, this year we're doing Goblin Valley SP, Capitol Reef NP, Peek-a-boo or Spooky slot canyon down Hole-in-the-Rock road, Coyote Gulch and maybe head over to Kodachrome Basin SP and back up Smoky Mountain Road to Escalante. Can't wait.
Thanks for posting.

This was one of the road trips I did way back in 1993. I"d driven up from Phoenix in a rental vehicle (sedan. On this part of my tour, I came across from Hite to Hanksville and onto this road shown here. So much of that trip I'd forgotten about. Now, thanks to AdverntureEveryDay, it's all come back to me. Thank you so much for taking me back to these marvellous places. It's much appreciated.

I took this route pre pandemic and the hogback section scared the crap out of me I have a major fear of heights. I am going back again on my motorcycle this time to conquer this demon. It is hard for me by the video to tell how many miles is the if you go off the road on either side certain death zone. Can you give me an idea so I can steel myself to be ready for it

Fantastic video - very well thought-out and done, We drove UT 12 in September 2019, from Bryce to Capitol Reef: inverse route. Our dash cam was not as good and we stopped every 5 to 10 minutes to take pictures. Thank you very much for your great production. .

I'm so glad I saw this. now I know not to go there. I can hardly drive with drop off on one side and this road is insane. thanks for sharing. I'm glad I got to see it without the panic attacks I would have had in person

Oh, how wonderful. I've been there just 3 month after you filmed this and stayed for 5 days in the region. It's an outstanding area with so many things to explore.
Thx for bringing back the memories.

Drove this back in 2003 or so. I remember pulling off to an overlook that had several markers/pointers pointing to various landmarks way in the distance. Wish I could find that location.

Only out-of-staters will drive on it. My impression is that Utah drivers prefer to drive on the rocky slopes on either side of it, and that may be why there are no guard rails.

Too dry and barren. Most beautiful drive in America would be through mountains with plenty of green grass, trees, snow. But definitely not this.

What kind of camera do you use Is it a steady cam I see the hood of the car move up and down and rock back and forth but the scenery doesn't.

Amazing scenery. Just wondering, what camera do you use for your dashboard and is there any rules in Utah about using a dash cam
