Christmas Break - Where We Stayed & Where We'll Be Going In 2024

I know it must not be so easy. There are people out here who will
never be able to travel and see these places. These obscure places you find
and the major towns/cities you visit and video record for us and the way your style is
in doing it makes everything so interesting And both you and Nicole let us know information
about these places as well that most of us would have a hard time finding. So a HUGE THANKS
to both of you and I hope both of you have a great 2024! And isnt Plano Texas headquarters for
Frito-Lay Corp. Or am I all screwed up Maybe you mention it as I have not watched all the video yet.

Enjoy your video, as someone who has considered moving now that I'm retired your video gives a glimpse of what other towns/cities are like. I got a kick out of your remark in this video We both enjoy working out no offense meant but is sort of obvious who actually works out and who just dabbles at it. Nicole looks awesome in a swim suit, you to quote a term Gabriel Iglesias uses look puffy. LOL. I enjoy nicely designed buildings and history and so your video's are right up my alley, keep them coming.

Most, if not all, hotels you guys visited had no rowing machine and with the two of you being gym freaks, rowing is the best cardio as published by the NY times about 12 years (may be 14 or 15) ago. They compared treadmill, cross trainer (eliptical) static bike and rower and the last one came out on top. I row 4 - 5 times a week. afterreading that article.

Happy New Year to you both. Please continue trekin. We are scoping for future fun and or investment. South East Kansas has some gems, you just missed one of ours in Parsons. Check out Independence small town with it's own zoo. Elk City, and complete ghost town in the middle of the woods le Hunt prolly searchable.

We did the same thing, we built the house in 92, sold it in 98, mover onto out boat so everything went with the sale of the house. We lived on the boat for 4 years. That was why we sold the house, we were spending more time on the boat then home. 06 we bought another smaller housewih 4 acres and sold the boat. lol

Oh Nic you should visit the NW corner of Ohio. There is a little town called Defiance in Ohio and the wonderful Friends of Felines Cat Rescue Center is there. It’s an amazing facility. That would be a great stop. Staff and Volunteers are the absolute best in the WORLD.

The hotel is a bit pricey. The quality of the food looks tasty. Rooms nice as is pool and gym.

I heard all the places you are visiting in 2024. Hopefully you explore more of Iowa at some point. There are some neat places to visit. Iowa City I think you would find interesting. Dubuque and others. Also more of maybe Wisconsin

$13 for a single Jack Daniels is ridiculous; I bought a round of drinks for 4 people for less than that yesterday here in the northern UK. Sad to say it but I'll be making a note not to stay in that hotel if ever I'm in Texas.
