Just an observation about The Kingsroad. It's a beautiful location, very distinctive and looks great in the show and IRL. But there's no way that such a road would ever be classified as a kingsroad. The point of such a thoroughfare is to provide one well maintained and safe road connecting the realm at a time when travelling could be dangerous, so most of it it would be required to be cleared of trees and undergrowth for a bowshot distance on either side. Otherwise it would be a haven for robbers and drop bears.

Hi there have just watched episode 4 of Season 8 I'm lucky enough to live on the Island of Malta where GOT sometimes films, sadly the Azure Window collapsed during a storm some years ago, but funnily enough, I lived in N. Ireland for some years and one school trip was to Castle Ward, as well as visiting the Giants Causeway another time, so GOT has been linked with my life - will be sad to see the show end, thankfully I have them (Seasons 1 -6) on dvd so will get the rest once out.

Can definitely recommend the GoT tour in Belfast The guy who led is was an extra on the show and had loads of stories and theories. We saw Castle Ward, the abbey where Rob Stark was named King of the North, the forest where they filmed a lot of scenes, including the opening scene of s1e1 with the white walker and when the direwolf puppies were found. And we saw a lot of beautiful areas of Northern Ireland.

I had the privilege to visit Dubrovnik, Croatia in 2016 and did the Game of Thrones walking tour it was one of the most unforgettable experiences. The views from the park where they filmed the purple wedding, the castle at the top of the rock, the walk of shame stairs etc. everything. Walking inside the city was amazing

You guys are apparently cool destination bloodhounds. OK here goes my Thrones akelarre sight. Daenerys and John Snow continue developing feelings of admiration and affection for one another falling in love just in time to learn they are closely related. Ouch Oh and one of those dragons has a saddle with Johns name all over it. ?

I visited Dubrovnik, Split and Sevilla. Some even before they produce Game of Thrones. Regardless, they are wonderful cities ( just be aware that there are months where Sevilla gets really hot I mean unbearably hot) I live in a tropical country, but Sevillas way hotter during those months

Question. Best way to reach Gaztelugatxe? Living in Italy near Verona. All of them are great locations. I would say Castle Rock. Trying to head to Dubrovnik later this year. Thanks for this awesome video and travel tips. John Snow and Daenerys Targeryen last two standing.
