LOVED this video I would like to add, though- a personal experience with Momondo, which I really love, but got screwed once by using it: I bought tickets from some company called Crystal Travel and they took my money and never sent me an actual ticket/boarding pass/confirmation number. only an email saying that I bought it. I had no luck trying to contact the company and had to cancel my bank card and get a new one and open a dispute through my bank to get the money back. So when finding cheap flights through third party companies, read ALL the fine print before purchasing and do a little research before you buy that ticket to avoid getting ripped off I did a review search of the company afterward and realized I could have saved myself all that trouble. Hope this helps somebody

Thanks for the video boys Im a senior and love to travel on the spur of the moment too. Your tips are great and I love all the new apps you mentioned. Heres an extra tip. once I find a flight, no matter how I did it, I go into Flight Network and book it through them. They have a price protection guarantee which will credit back the difference in a flight if it goes down. The credit can be used on the next booking. You have to be committed to checking your flight every day to see if it went down, and sometimes its not much, but I have saved many times this way My last savings was for 43 which I used against a San Diego to Boston flight, ending up costing me only 80

Really great content guys. Thank you. And how amazing is it that you can gather so much great content for future video's from your viewers comments. I read through a lot of of the viewers comments and so much good stuff there. Perhaps you can do an update annually. Another thing, why did you not mention anything about the pay programs you can sign up for that will send you text alerts the second fares drop to almost unbelievably low prices which are often the result of human error and don't last long before they get raised and so paying a fee for these services can save a bunch of money as well.

There is no such a thing as an expensive flight. Why? Because no airline prices the damage to the environment and costs from pending climate change in. Think price of a burger 2, climate change costs priced in 200, that kind of difference. Sounds ridiculous, I know, but it's having fun now vs. having to deal with mass migration, crop failure, housing and infrastructure problems, frequent natural catastrophes, significant reduction in animal life. Price that in. I love travelling but unfortunately, we cannot allow ourselves to travel (by plane) as we want and enjoy and maintain this planet at the same time.

Travel hack: : you can fly halfway around the world to most places for under 700 if you really look. You might need to take a bus to a major hub city and fly out of there and possibly do the same at the other end. For example, you can fly cheaper flying out of New York City than you can Baltimore. Flying into Bangkok is cheaper than Siem Reap. Now how to get that extra 700? Work 20 extra hours a week at 10 an hour for four or five weeks depending on your taxes. Throw in a couple extra weeks to have money to pamper yourself a few times after hitting cheap hostels and drinking tea for a week straight.

If you are traveling domestically, Founder of Flightsbird, believes that the cheapest day to book flights is from 3 months to four weeks before departure. According to travel and leisure experts of www. Flightsbird. com, airlines usually dropping the fares three months out and hit a low to seven weeks before departure. For example, if you are looking for cheap flights from Chicago to Dallas, then book a flight to Dallas three months before and then return to Chicago four weeks prior.

For my next cruise I booked on a cheap flight from Madrid (Spain) (950 on tourist class with Air Europa) but first I need to take a bus from Granada (Spain) (15 ) & spend one night hotel (60 with continental breakfast) in order to take the flight to Miami. Iberia (Number 1 on delays) costs 3. 000 to get to Miami taking two flights that has only 1&30 h to take the another flight which is in another terminal with a long queue

Surprisingly, there are still thousands of people they can't use Internet, even if it is installed on their mobile phones. The world of airtickets and travelling by plane is dynamic, everchanging, so at the end you need lot of patience, then you will find a deal. Stop using your phone only for selfies Milan - Bangkog at the beginning of the high season - direct return flight - 475 euros.

I booked a one way SFO-Barcelona for 280 on LEVEL all in with luggage meals drinks and seat assignments for a 3 week cruise around the Med and back to Tampa. Then I found a Southwest Flight for 148 from Tampa to San Jose which was the same as a Basic Economy Ticket without seats or luggage. I went on Kyak and then went and booked it on Iberia. The cruiseline wanted double
