You put catsup that hamburger, there is a little location near Traverse City that makes a cherry barbecue sauce. I get up to Traverse City quite frequently. My daughter and the other half of her relationship lives one block off the main drag. When you're going to go back up I hope you get a chance to tour even more. Hope to see you again, only this time I hope it's face-to-face. BTW, the name is not pronounced like a Chevrolet Traverse. The accent goes on the other end of the word. But I still hope you come and visit that beautiful city and that west side of the state of Michigan is absolutely stunning. The Northeast side is gorgeous. Rather you go from Tawas, to Oscoda, to Alpena, to Mackinac Island. Come and enjoy the beauty that is known as my home.

I live in Michigan between Lansing and Flint, it's actually a great place to live during the summer. tons to do, us locals call it going up north on vacation or just the weekend. I'd say half of people living in mid Michigan own property or a cabin or travel trailer on property in northern Michigan. everyone goes up north on the holidays and weekends and it's just normal to do and have fun every weekend. Not sure how many other states are like that. there's literally a different place to go everytime. usually we lease a property for a year and switch up places every few years. we fish off Saginaw bay for walleye. few years ago we fished lake huron in Rogers city, Michigan that was the best spot and so much fun and memories

If you liked Michigan you should check out Cleveland. Besides the obvious Rock N Roll Hall of fame Cleveland has an awesome food scene and some pretty great chefs with many restaurants all over town. We have the West Side Market which is one of the largest indoor - outdoor markets in the US. We also have tons of breweries and micro breweries in the area as well as some wineries along the lake. Not to mention how into sports this city gets, it's fun to be downtown on game days. Cleveland is awesome and I wish more people would visit and see just how great this city is

Being a local, born and raised, I am pumped to see these guys have traveled to my home town. I have been to 27 countries and TC is still the most beautiful place I have seen. May be a bit bias but many people I have asked have agreed with me. I do get a slight twitch when they mispronounce the name. they get it right a few times, but, its Traaaavrs city not travERs city. basically its not pronounced like the word traverse. Just a pro tip so when you visit you won't look like a fuggie (tourist. Great vid hope you get to come back.

This place is not that great. Really bad traffic in the summer that makes Detroit look like an easy commute. We now have heroin, prostitution, murder here from downstate. The prices are jacked way up for almost everything to price gouge the tourists. The locals, the true locals, will smile to your face but really hate you. Too much of the local beauty is being culled for new developments and houses. Costcos. Trust me, this place is destroyed.

We get too many tourists now, and the traffic is horrendous. Prices are really high and to be honest, as a native generations deep, we hate you if you're a tourist. We smile and are nice to you, but really we hate. The place is getting ruined by over development and now we're getting diversity from Detroit that slings heroin. Oh yeah, now we have murder thanks to overexposure. Pure Michigan.

I'm from Michigan and I got so excited when I saw the title to this. If you come back to Michigan you have to check out the upper peninsula and hike Tahquamenon falls. For a more city feel go to metro Detroit and see some cool museums, get awesome food, and stop in for the Woodward dream cruise

I live in Traverse City and I really like it here. The commons are beautiful especially in the fall. My senior pictures where taken in one of the abandoned horse barns. Right brain has a stout called the ceo stout and it's frickin amazing. My husband and I go to little fleet a lot too.
