Ok, I literally never comment but just can not restrain myself this time. 1) First of all, very nice videography and the visuals were just top-notch. Well done. 2) As for the dialog. My God. I don't know where to start. I guess thank you for reminding me yet again why most people can't stand Californian's. I thought the dialog was in jest at first; but unbelievably, it was real. I kept debating whether to just mute the audio and enjoy the visuals (minus the hipster/douche leather riding jacket. I felt compelled to stab myself in the ear as soon as the comments refereed to sinking into the moment and being in the here and now and being present. Tell me, do you pair your own bottled farts with that low-impact soy tofu vegan and gluten-free panini? 3) The whole purpose (besides the journey) was to get to the PCH by a means other than the North and South, correct? The comment was only 'way way in or out'. It was not clear from the sequence whether you found a way to the PCH other than this N/S route (and you dropped down via one of these routes) or if you intersected Big Sur in the middle. I see what you ended up doing of course, but the sequencing wasn't perfectly clear.

this has great cinematography but it also is filled with deception. First off at the time of shooting this video CAMP FIRES ARE BANNED and these boys are lucky to have not encountered locals, forrest service or police and somehow mysteriously avoided the 5, 000 fines. Big Sur was ravaged by fires and floods all in a short time frame and locals lost their homes and lives so to see a illegal roadside fire in the Eucalyptus grove just North of Gorda is especially concerning. Another rider traveling through (AFTER this video was shot) has been arrested and charged, served jail time and still faces the fines. If Big Sur is your favorite spot in California then respect it when you come. DO NOT HAVE AN ILLEGAL CAMP FIRE spend the 35 to get a legal campsite (especially if your sponsored) and enjoy a worry free camp fire that won't cost you 5 grand. I'm glad these fellas didn't get to show even more secrets of Big Sur.

What you said about that mission was pretty funny. You said, Its being restored and being made earthquake proof so it should be around for another couple hundred years. You guys are from SoCal, same as I. Let's face it, what you meant to say was it's being earthquake proofed so it should be around for another 2 or 3 weeksI understand that as regards a great bike trip in the interior, ranchs, pasture, some great places to stop, Have you tried up on CA-46 near Cholame, Ca up into the small famous town of Parkfield. You can catch CA-46 east out of Paso Robles. Been there a few times, great ride, you have to stand on the bent bridge that sits directly over the San Andreas Fault. EAT at the little Parkfield inn. Lots of. Motorcycles up that way love the trip and the road. Google it, you might enjoy it. Great video btw

Very very cool, I always wished I had a brother, you two guys seem very much like nice very young, smart, and I only wish I could have met you on the road for a day or part of without intruding of course, if it would have been an intrusion I would have said enjoy your ride, I'll likely see you again as I agree with your take on that part of our home state I am now planing a trip to the mission, for my 60 th birthday on my KLR this 2018 March. Peace out nicely done, what drone did you use by the way if you don't mind my asking, and I was really happy that you kept it about the trip not all the gear cams, tent, sleeping bags etc. But I am wondering if you used the Mavic or the Pro4 or some other brand. I love my Mavic. As it is so small and the abilty to lock on to myself as I ride.

Reminds me of the trip two of my brothers and I took two years ago last month' Really enjoyed all the camera angles during the ride and scenic shots when stopped. Great work. I'm majorly jealous. On our ride two of us flew into LAX, rented bikes in Hollywood and rode to Crestline to meet the third brother riding in from Kingman on his Bonnie. It had been years since we saw each other and decades since we had much time alone, and the first time we'd all ridden together. Only one had any touring under his belt. Anyway, we rode from Crestline to Ventura the back way, then up the PCH to San Francisco and back to LA in 9 days. We had a blast and can't wait to do it again, but that won't be easy to work out. Thanks for bringing back some great memories

Well done Thank you for presenting such an insiders view of this part of the coast. I grew up in the Santa Barbara area and have done this trip numerous times over the decades but it is NEVER tiring. I hope Internationals view this series and see these sites in California and also see that there is sooo much more to Cali than Disneyland and Universal Studios; not that there is anything wrong with those places, but showcasing the stunning natural beauty, the diversity of geographies, cultural history and modern lifestyle of the Central Coast exhibits all the natural riches that have made California such an amazing state. AND, that it can be done inexpensively is such a service for travellers I enjoyed the whole series. Thanks.

Guys, I'm a BMW GS motorcyclist (and former Triumph Tiger 900 owner) originally from the SF Bay Area. Love this area-the best riding in the U. S. And I've camped out off the road on my trips up the 101 North of SF. But, I gotta believe that campfire is a bad idea. Nostalgic, yes. I'm no Sierra Club member. But, it looks like a bad idea-even after a heavy rain season. Food for thought. Check out Marin County near Stinson Beach thru Pointe Reyes and in Sonoma County and Russian River. Great memories there.

Nice vid We were there this past Saturday. The segment between Limekiln and Gorda is like a racetrack with ocean views No traffic at all. we ran both directions several times before heading back over the hill. On the way out, we stopped at the tank crossing (next to the bridge) and the only CHP officer assigned to that part of PCH was just coming in. The day before, I rode down to the Big Sur closure from Carmel, then yesterday, a friend and I rode to the southern closure at Salmon Creek. It was good.

Morning Vegabrothers, first off condolences on the loss of your friends and I hope you two are doing well. The California Motorcycle Road Trip series is for sure my all time video to watch and every time I review the series it just gets better. I was in Cali and had hoped to recreate your tour, but work called and I'm now living in Italy (I know what a bummer right) LOL. As soon as my bikes get here I'll be vlogging and documenting wonderful memories like you two. Please keep doing what you do.

This is my first Vagabrothers video and honestly, I'm a little bowled over by how (can I say savvy? English is my third language) savvy you guys are. Quoting Confucius, using the word quixotic in a sentence; who are you people? The video quality is quite good, the graphics are on point; I should have known right then that y'all ain't a couple of garden variety motovloggers. I'm going to watch the Budget Travel video next but in the meantime, take my sub.
