overrated: 1. yosemite. sure it beautiful, but its always crowded & its scant on wildlife. w/ mtn beauty like that, the wildlife should be denser. I'd rank it about 7th-10th best park, not the top 3 it always gets. 2. petrified forest. not enough to look at & the exhibits are weak. 3. joshua tree. lack of desert diversity that death valley has. underrated: 1. great basin. diversity. ancient trees. high altitudes. get away from it all. 2. grand teton. if you love yellowstone ( I rank it #1, then the tetons have to be top 10. basically an extension of the same magic and beauty of NW wy. Plus grizzlies roam. 3. north cascades. gorgeous as it gets in re to sculpted & densely green foilage. most people dont know, there are also grizzlies in the park. one of only 4 parks in the 48 that can say that. 4. voyeguers. if you like lake beauty w/ undisturbed lands & scores of bald eagles, go. very overlooked.

Many minor mistakes, otherwise a pretty good job: 5: 16 It's pronounced as aisle Royale, like aisle seats on airplanes7: 52 Glacier is not a national park that spans across two countries. It is a US national park, entirely within the US. Yes, it is connected to Canada's Waterton Lakes National Park, forming the International Peace Park. In that sense, WrangellSt. Elias National Park in Alaska is also connected to Kluane National Park in Yukon, Canada, and forming parts of an international park system. 12: 26 The Horseshoe Bend is along the Colorado River, but it's not located in Grand Canyon, but rather in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. 12: 45 Black Canyon OF the Gunnison National Park13: 39 Chaco Culture is a National Historical Park, although it's also administered by the National Park Service.

Really nice presentation guys. Im a huge fan of the NP system and have visited about 40 to date, most of those over the past three years. Zion (which actually does not rhyme with lion ) is probably my favorite. The five parks in Utah along with the Grand Canyon in northern Arizona are a must see experience. One can fly into Las Vegas, rent a car (fairly inexpensive there) and do the grand circle in five or six days. Escalante, Cedar Breaks, and Monument Valley national monuments are all on the way. Spectacular and breathtaking beautiful red rock desert scenery the whole way through. A guaranteed bucket list experience for anyone who loves nature and the outdoors. Cheers

Been to 20/29 that you mentioned Some gems in there Too many people focus just on the 61 Parks though and forget the rest of the NPS system. There are 418 National Park Service units including Parks, Monuments, Historical Parks, etc. (note: there are many national monuments, such as Grand Staircase-Escalante in UT, administered by the Forest Service or BLM and those are not a part of the 418 NPS units - still worth going to. I think I've been to 150/418 so far - hoping to get to them all someday

It's hard to choose 29 out of 51, since they're all great, but I wanna mention a few I love that you guys didn't include: Kenai Fjords (AK, Bryce Canyon (UT, Grand Teton (WY) - the most picturesque mountain range in all the Rockies, Mount Rainer (WA, Death Valley (CA, and Great Sand Dunes (CO. awesome video nonethelessAlso being from Utah, Corona Arch (where DevinSupertramp did the rope swing) isn't in Arches NP, and Horseshoe Bend isn't technically in the Grand Canyon.

Great video Am I the only one that noticed Chaco Canyon is a Historical National Park, not one of the core 60 National Parks you reference? A quick google search told me there are 46 Historical National Parks as of 2014. Not blitzing Chaco Canyon, and totally hate a flight delay made me cut this park out on a visit I did a few years back. But it is not part of the 60 National Parks you are referencing: )

A smart person would avoid the 29 you listed since they are the popular ones. The 30 you did not list would be the ones to see since the crowds will be less and you would have more of the natural park ( not congested ) to enjoy. 8: 42 mark # 14, if you like thousands of mosquitoes snacking on you visit it in the summer, the Flamingo area is the worst of the two areas it has.

I have already been to 30 National Parks so far of the 60 US National Parks and all the places are completely amazing in their own unique way. So after watching your video it insipired me to go to some of the other Parks that still haven't gone and that way achieve my goal to complete the list of visiting these beautiful places that America has to offer

I would add one more to make it an even 30. Shenandoah National Park definitely deserves to be on the list. Hiking, Skyline Drive that connects to The Blue Ridge Parkway, waterfalls, I mean. what's not to love. Also, it's not far from D. C. Otherwise, thanks for the great video. Looks like I'd better get on the road soon so I can get through your list.

This is a remarkably good video - in that you cover 29 parks with enough detail so we get a flavor of each of those without being too long. Thanks Vagabrothers And the photos are a treatPS. I've been to about 8 of these 29 and I would recommend Grand Teton as a worthy contender in any list. Scenery and wildlife both brilliant
