I have watched every single series of Trail recap videos for 2015/2016 to get a feel for how the Trail has changed since my last thru-hik------------------e and from what Ive seen its all positive! ------and yours are simply the most entertaining. Im so looking forward to Amicalola 6 months hence.

Love your videos. You have made me want to one day hike the thru hike. I can't do the whole thing just yet because my 3 yr old and husband wont let me go for 5 months; . So to quench my AT hiking thirst for now my sister, my dad and I are going to do a section hike this summer for a week. What are your favorite trail shoes?

Hi, my wife and I having been following your vblog. Such a great adventure and fun to watch. You mentioned early on that you started with a hammock but switched over to a tent. We've been thinking of going to hammocks. I'm curious to know what didn't appeal to you. Care to share?

I remember feeding Rice Krispies to the deer at rest areas in The Smokies.
(early 1960s - pre Interstate)
They would eat out of your hand.
(P. S. My real name is Dixie: -) & I used to sign My name with the flag for an X)

Another great video Dixie! I really enjoyed the trail flashbacks. I followed your thru hike last year, and you're still inspiring me for my 2017 thru hike. Keep the videos coming!

Wow, the trail still has some good amount of ice left on it. Hopefully all or majority is gone when I start my NOBO thru in April.
