Awesome, awesome, awesome series of videos! I spent the past four or five days binging on them each night and it sort of feels like I was there along the way. The fact that you started alone and wound up making some amazing friends was the best part. Thanks for taking the time to make these. I can't wait to see you take on the PCT.

Hi I'm from New Zealand and am planning on doing Te Araroa trail (the length of the country, both islands, but at this stage I will be doing it solo. How I'm important did you find having other people around? doing the TA you would go weeks without seeing another person and often won't meet another thru-hiker the whole time.

Found your videos a couple weeks ago and binge watched them all! I truly hope you do the PCT so I can live vicariously again. I got bit by the backpacking bug this year and would so love to do one of the big thru Hikes. Maybe someday! In the meantime I must live through you: )

Sugar was a beautiful hound! We had a Black and Tan Hound that my cousin found in a garbage bag when he was a pup. He had the most personality of any dog we ever had. He smiled just like a person does when they are happy or excited.
