Hello, Dixie, I was the one who built the 700 mile marker in this clip ( the first one ) according to Halfmile app, this was the spot, then a few yards ahead we found the second one. So, you were a short distance behind us. We were at Kennedy Meadows May 31 2017 Memorial Day. Love following your journey a year later. Bringing back memories. Thank you

Wow -- Aaron, Dixie, you guys have developed such a unique voice over the course of your videos. I'm so impressed with the quality of editing, and can't wait to watch the rest!
Also, DIxie, what brand are your shorts? I can't seem to find them on your Lighterpack list.

I've just started in town walking to prepare for trail hiking. As of right now I'm at 7-8 miles a day. I need to save money so I can get equipment for real hiking. One day I hope to thru hike the Appalachian and PCT. I LOVE watching your videos to learn more: )

doesnt look like fungus to me. source: am a doctor. secondary source: with austere environment and wilderness experience. Please do not stop posting videos. They help keep me sane since I still have to work and can only fantasize about the outdoors right now.

they move over out of courtesy, not wanting to scare you by passing too close to you. Especially if you're not facing them as you hitch. Also, they dont want to hit you if you stumble and the weight of your pack causes you to fall onto the road.

a ton of comments. Can she read them all? Too bad you had to hike alone in recent episodes. Good thing you have those modern water filtration filters. Back when I was hiking we only had purification tablets and they tasted awful.

I was impressed that I did a 12-mile day hike on the AT last weekend, and then I hear Dixie say Tomorrow I only have 19 miles to Kennedy Meadows at about 5: 40 on the video.
Only? That puts my hiking mileage into perspective.

Excellent, excellent build-up with fantastic music and visuals of newspaper clippings, etc. You two certainly know how to tell a compelling story! Thank goodness today is Saturday so I can go immediately into the next segment. :-)

Love how humble and how much you express about all the trail angels and the trail magic. Love watching all of your journeys. And I love that you still take time off the trail for family.
