I know I'm late to the party on the comments here but I'm pretty positive you found a sasquatch print around the 7 minute mark of the video. I know most of you will think I'm completely nuts, but I saw 2 in colorado. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. Most terrified I've ever been in my life and my head stays on a swivel when I'm in the woods now. I've found several tracks since. Glad Dixie seemed to have made it through all the major trails without experiencing this. Although, obviously rare, it is a life changing experience to physically see them. craziest experience of my life and I know several other good, honest people who have too. 3 of whom being police officers near Co Springs.

Wow that ending was incredible. This whole series is incredible. I've binged the whole thing in the last day and a half, and I'd already watched the CDT documentary. Really speaks to the amazing quality of your vlogs, and just your content in general. This is far better than any Nature T. V. show I've ever watched. I think it mostly comes down to how genuine you are, but Aaron's beautiful editing certainly plays a big part as well, it seems like he really started perfecting thru hike editing by this trail. Not that the previous ones were bad by any means.
Anyways, on to the next one.

Truth be told by the title I was thinking about your sister (isn't her name Montana?
But a beautiful trail, nights sounds and prints on the trail impressive.
I love how quiet it is and not many people around. That's my type of hiking.
For these pinholes I carry a small tube of superglue in my kit as a quick emergency repair and can be used for wounds also but maybe not recommended.
Very nice video!
Ow yes about the underwear. On trail I wear cheap swim boxers that dry in 30 minutes or go commando.

This hike through the Bob showed yes, how wild and beautiful that landscape is. I used to live up that way just west of Glacier Park and remember so well the deep fall with the colors and the first snow on the peaks. I hiked the parallel trail up the North Fork Flathead and around Eureka. This video brought back a nostalgia for that awesome country. I'm thankful that you were able to make this epic trip and kept the bears at a safe distance and shared it with us.

Emus leave the weirdest turds. Some have a fluorescent green sheen and others half the colours of the rainbow and vary in size from what you'd think came from an elephant down to a chickens do do. They're definitely not into Leave No Trace as they leave their business on the trail and you can track them all day stepping over and around them. I think if I saw bear turd I would immediately leave my own, hopefully on the track and not in my in undies.

At 4: 00-5: 00 Those are Wolf Tracks if I've ever seen em! I recently did a solo trek through Yellowstone and ran into the same critter prints and definitely watched my back! Especially alone! I Love rewatching your videos, especially when i cant be on trail because of work or school! Awesome Content, and it gives me so many hopes and dreams of thru/section hiking one day!

Wolves and coyotes could all be talking about you at night. Wolverines may make unknown tracks, you think? Do sheep and mountain goats make ignitable poop like cows? Not worth depending upon, though. Now you have braces. When do they come off? Impressive footage. What's your and Perk's hiking speed? Does the wilderness ever make you cry?

To the question of coyote sounds. I was once encircled, at 3 am, in forest, heard the scrambling all around me, could slightly see the yellow lanterns of their eyes, all around me, 8-10 ft. away. They began yipping, higher and higher until it was like a shrill, electronic noise that put chills up spine and raised the hair on my skin.

WOW, hearing those wolves in person must have been AWSOME! I've only heard recordings. I have blasted the wolf sounds on my external stereo speakers, on my house, hoping it would scare away the coyotes. Won't do that again, my poor horses were skittish all the next day, looking nervously towards the house

3: 59 So I am new at camping and the first time I heard this at night I was terrified. Luckly I was with my husband and we also had company but it's funny how I almost camped by myself that night and did not know the sounds of the night in the wilderness.
