this is absolutely the best Manhattan landing video I have ever seen!
It's not easy to shoot such great video (I have tried many many times but fail even I try to land in LGA airport) because there are so many factors.
when you have a good window seat and good weather but the pilot may not use the great route due to the wind direction.
Sometimes, when a good route is chosen, the weather is not cooperating or you don't have a good window seat.
Luck is a big factor but also need a good videographer to shoot a video with the right composition to make the pictures look appealing!
Good job! you don't miss that window of opportunity when all good factors appear together. Congratulations!

Stunning! I loved every second of this video from top to bottom. This was taken in September, I see. That's a nice time to be able to film something like this in NY. I've been to NY a few times but not in a good while. I hadn't realized how built up it is. I think that no other video could be just as good or better than this one. Great job! I'll be seeing this more than just once.

Excellent view of Manhattan from all sides, and a beautiful day on top of that! But unrelated to that, what was that whiney noise constantly coming from the plane during the last 2-3 minutes or so I am pretty familiar with all the plane noises, and that one didn't sound right. It sounded like the hydraulic pump was stuck in the on position, even beyond when it was needed.

They really messed up restoring the World Trade Center. The original design's center piece resembled the statue of liberty and it was skirted by several other sky scrapers. It was beautiful. How they settled on what they did is beyond me. A drab monolith that sticks out like a sore thumb. Certainly not iconic like the twin towers were.

4: 20 I can see the location bottom R corner of screen of the location in Goodfellas movie where Jimmy is telling Karen to go right in there, right in there to a store with 2 men in it that would have killed her. She then got into her car and drove off. I drive near this location all the time on the BQE, I 278 eastbound.

That landing was so quick. The runway at KLGA must be very short. Looks like full breaking. I enjoyed the views on your way to the runway. The concrete jungle is so beautuful. At first, thought you were on a crj900 but looking closely, figured out its an a220. Whooa! I'm blown away.

Great! That doesnt seem like a typical flght pattern for La Guardia but way cool. I arrived in 2002 just as the street lights were coming on flying north up the Hudson low enough to see people in the park, crossing Yankee Stadium in approach. Best landing memoty ever.

I’ve never understood what is so beautiful about big cities. If u really want to see beauty get out in nature away from millions of people crammed in one area with horns blowing, exhaust smell, sirens constantly blaring, other nasty smells from who knows what.

I've been to NYC 17 times and I still can't get my head to process how unreal this place is! From the air is a whole different level of trying to comprehend what they've built here. Incredible video! I believe that is what they call the Expressway Approach.

Absolutely spectacular! What a great route coming from the North - FULLY circling Manhattan. Featuring Jersey City, Brooklyn, Roosevelt Island & Queens. Wish you'd started filming a little earlier so I could see my neighborhood uptown!

Is that a normal flight path flying into NYC It was as if the pilot gave y’all the grand tour of the city. That was by far the greatest look from the air of the city I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing

The thing that gets me are the super tall and really thin looking buildings. They look like smokestacks but I know they’re not. Aside from that, it’s a really, high quality video.

Wonderful. I always get a window seat. Lately though there’s always somebody in the other two seats who says, You’re supposed to close that so we can watch our movie on our laptop

I've flown into LGA many, many times; this is hands down the best approach to NYC I've seen. The result of a perfect storm of air traffic / weather / seat / steady hands / etc.

Nature is beautiful but NYC skyscrapers are horrible. If you live above the 10 th floor, you are closer to the birds and planes and do not have any sense of the city life.

Now you know why Manhattan is so crowded, it's over developed. No building setbacks, narrow sidewalks, and unchecked growth on an old grid pattern that doesn't get bigger.

So basically it took only 1 minute and 40 seconds to go from one tip of manhattan to the other, and that too it was slowing down for landing! let that sink in!
