15 Incredible Aircraft and Innovative Aerial Vehicles Bobby: I really enjoy your videos, however, the one little aircraft you displayed here you pronounced it like it was spelled Cri-Cri, I observed this little plane in a few other videos and the narrator pronounced it Cree-Cree, it's really no big deal, it doesn't take away from it. The company also offers this same aircraft with Jet engines, very nice little One Seater. Thank's for sharing your videos, they are very interesting.

The flying wing was invented by the Horton brothers in Germany. And the jet engine was invented by Sir Frank Whittle. Hans von Ohain of Germany was the designer of the first operational jet engine, though credit for the invention of the jet engine went to Great Britain's Frank Whittle. Whittle, who registered a patent for the turbojet engine in 1930, received that recognition but did not perform a flight test until 1941. Americans then adopted those technologies.

There seems to be a lot of confusion over gyroplane vs gyrocopter. From what I can surmise from what I've seen, the only real difference is where you put the engine. If it's a pusher-gyrocopter. If it's a puller-gyroplane. This term goes all the way back to the Pitcairn and the Kellet. Benson invented the gyrocopter in the 50's. They called it an autogyro.

How about something on the Bede BD-5 and 5J family? Since they started out (and closed up) so long ago, in the early 70s, the BD-5s were the fantasy of a number of us in our teens back then. Thanks for the good video. You covered a number of very interesting craft and the result, along with the editing and pleasant presentation made this fun to watch.

The Northrup N9m was based off the German delta wing Ho229. A Horten plane. This plane is what started the entire Martian space invasion stories. Hurray the martians are coming Those poor people could barely understand flying airplanes not to mention tricked out delta wing planes. Poor dumb bastard's seeing these flying V's soaring through the skies.

Number 8 the yellow flying wing I sold out in California many many many years ago that has subsequently been flown crash that killed his Pilot so it no longer exist I'm surprised you didn't include the Teeny to which is the simplest cheapest airplane to build that's aerobatic metal and not a total death trap

If you are talking about aircraft as having wings, then the Wright bros. were nowhere near the first. Ever heard of Otto Lilienthal or George Cayley before him. Oh sorry, I forgot that you are American, and how about the 27 that flew non-stop across the Atlantic before Lindberg.

As you are an English outfit, you missed the Edgley Optica as one of the more unusual designs, it was meant as a hybrid of helicopter and plane. As a kid in the 80's I found that concept strange, as well as then the Rhein Flugzugbau Fantrainer which was also a eighties concept.

Nothing from the skunk works? I'm guessing that a lot of progress as been made on anti-gravity since 1957 when Townsend Brown demonstrated his flying saucers to his friend Admiral Rickover and was told to cease and desist. Dr. Paul laViollete Secrets of anti-gravity.

The list covered some neat planes. surprised to see the Dark Star. I knew a pilot who while flying near Wright-Patt swore he saw a UFO. His description of what he saw was the Dark Star and so I try to look at her anytime I go to the museum. Love to see more.
