The 2018 GT 10R80 is a thing of beauty. Ive driven a manual and much prefer the auto. The only quirk is to get the modes to shift when you want. Ive found if you are in normal drive mode and switch to sport, its better off shifting to sport mode, paddle shifting to tell the CPU when you want your shifts, switch back to drive, change back to sport mode and enjoy the actual shift zones you want. Either way, love the Bullitt and love the 18 chassis.

Regular GTs are ok. The Bullett is a little bit more sporty. The GT/CS is unavailable fully loaded(YES. The New GT500 will be unattainable buy the average working man. Wish we had a MACH 1 Option with a real Shaker Hood THAT, would out sell the GT just like it did in 69. Why Not give the Consumer what they want? Remember 2019 is the 50th Anniversary of the Iconic 69 Mach 1. And how do we get to celebrate?

The Mustang GT can be a practical choice, especially compared to other compact & mid-sized sports coupes/cars. Same cargo room as a Honda Accord coupe. Its half as efficient as a Prius, but has over 3 times the horsepower Im 59, 185 lbs, and I can sit in the back seat when my 6 friends sit in front. Try that in a Camaro, RCFor Prelude

In your review of the EcoBoost, you said that it, and not the GT, would be your cup of tea, offering the best balance of performance and efficiency. The Bullitt, then is not only better than the regular (460hp) GT, youd also take it over the 2. 3? (Asking for a friend. Who may or may not be planning his midlife crisis)

Comparing it to a M3. Really. In straight line acceleration perhaps. Other than that it remains a nostalgic reminder of an automotive farce with brutal interior quality, laughable fit and finish with a price tag only uninformed consumers would consider. But if you gotta buy American. Enjoy.

Alex It is NOT about Not Having the more fuel efficient auto tranny. The original Bullet Stang had a manual tranny and so should the Retro Sport Bullet Stang Also Have. IT IS ABOUT Tradition Here. How is it you even commented on this Stang not having an auto box, you have lost your way?

Thanks for a very open minded review on this car I am a bullitt owner and dont understand why people say it isnt worth the money when they havent gone on the build and price site to build a GT with similar specs to see how expensive the GT actually gets.

Base GT with PP1 is best bang for buck. Alex choice for an automatic isnt shocking as he isnt a driver or enthusiast. This is why reviewers like Savagegeese have opinions I respect way more than Alex
