Yet another vehicle that once again completely shames Lexus and Toyota but not as much as the latest SUVs from GM shame the incompetent engineers at Toyota. And when even a Chevy beats a Lincoln you know the Cadillac version will completely crush the best Ford has to offer. Anyone considering a vehicle in this class will be well served to compare GM s latest offerings against their domestic and Japanese competition. But they should also look to the Koreans with class leading vehicles that shame most everything else and especially Toyota and Lexus which are generally years behind their competition.

What about the Acura TLX? Wouldn't that be a better pick than this? Volvo- hell no, China launches a bioweapon to destroy other economies. A mix of MRSA, SARS and HIV binding protein. Boycott China. Everything from China. Volvo not an option for this reason! Sorry. Politics can't be factored out in this crazy world and people need to buy American. But I would take a GM product over a Ford product, given US troops were killed by Germans in Ford built cars and considering Ford was one of the leading illuminati behind the slave labor and the Holocaust. Boycott Ford as well. For eternity.

Alex makes a great point about Lincoln prioritizing ride and comfort over handling. I think that was a really smart choice for this segment and I agree that wayyyyyyy too many compact crossovers are trying to be the next X3. Kudos to Lincoln for charting their own course. I love the comfort-focused mission of the Corsair and I would honestly take this over a GLC300. Few other people might say that but that s just me personally.

Alex, why are you comparing the engine size and power to sub-compact offerings (5: 15? This is the luxury twin to the Ford Escape, a clearly COMPACT crossover offering. It has nothing to do with the sub-compact category in any way. Yes, the Germans might PRICE their sub-compact offerings similar to this price of this compact offering, but that only says something about German car pricing, not this car.

I saw Doug do this review on the Corsair and must say that I was feeling the car a lot more but your review was so much deeper and the way you compare it to the other vehicles really help me with the decision that I'm about to make on something new
