I like that the X5 has the cornering LED light function, the optional Bowers & Wilkins Diamond audio, the panoramic roof with LED lights, LED lights in all 4 door handles and Digital Key. Mercedes needs to step it up with the GLE and bring back the High-End Burmester Audio System, implement Digital Key and unlock the FULL function of the Multi-Beam LED headlights. and upgrade those basic brakes on the AMG GLE 53.

Usually like your reviews Alex, but reviewing a full blown X5 M and trying to sprinkle in tidbits about other variants is absolutely injustice. Either just review this and then do separately for the base version and the PHEV. All 4 models differ substantially and cannot be rolled up into one sweeping meaningless review like this.

An M60i makes a lot more sense for 90K starting and probably 100K well equipped. It has the same amount of torque, just less HP and overall less aggressive but still quite sporty SUV. I dont really undersrabd where the 40K upgrade to the full M model goes. From the exterior they also appear kinda similar.

I have 2019 X5. $85k would put all boxes checked minus v8. Very comfortable car that can be evil next to a kid who just bought GR86. I was in a hit and run accident where I had to replace headlight. It’s $7. 5k each. 9k if you want modules replaced. Two headlights can buy you Nissan Versa.

shit the starting MSRP is $120k How come I still remember it was just 100k maybe it was just 2022 not that long ago At that time I thought it was relatively bargin but 125k starting and 145k competition, Cayenne GTS probabably better served for minor more money

Like the exterior. Much more subtle than the angular craziness of some BMW models. Very cool sunroof. The seat design is really off putting, looks like something more at home in a kids toy. It’s unfortunate everyone copied BMWs dashboard.

Meh, these just don't hold up over time. I know people like these, but they're just not well made. If you're leasing it then you're in the clear, but 2 years out of warranty and this thing will start to throw a parts tantrum.

We have a town home-sized garage and ironically because our X5 has the split tailgate it's one of the few SUVs that allows us to open the tailgate while the garage is down. Plus the split tailgate is just more practical

One of my favorite features of BMWs that is rarely mentioned, Cellular signal is repeated from the antenna, into that little cell phone compartment. So if you store your cell phone, you will not lose any signal.

Misleading title! Really You reviewing super car priced X5M vehicle not the regular X5. How many X5M are in USA, 12, 13 This is not X5, this is AN M CAR and it's in a totally different category.

But it’s still a BMW only good for about three or four years without major expense. I’d go get five Kia Niro Limiteds instead. But then again, I’m not buying stuff just for status.

I don't want to even guess how much that Panoroof glass will cost if it ever requires replacement. The front and back pano glass for my MDX are about $1400 combined.

14: 36 why start/stop OFF in a HYBRID IMO that should be treated as a hybrid feature and not able to be deactivated without going into manual shifting mode.

Selfish, shameful for BMW x5 that always locked in place for middle seats. It's really selfish. They should do like x3 little bit recline.
