Sadly the era of my bad Forte jokes is almost over. Almost. Why Because the Forte is now the K4. What's with the K names Well Kia has long used K for their sedans in other markets like the K5, K8, K9, etc and the brand has decided to consolidate the names where it makes sense. Et voila! K4. Will there be a K3 Yep, in other markets a K3 will kinda-sorta replace the Rio, but we're unsure if we're getting that here. Fun fact, the Forte was called the K3 in other markets, but the K4 is replacing the K3 with a new K3 filling in a slot below the K4. Still with me Sensible names haven't been Kia's Forte in the past, so it's a bit confusing. (See, I told you there'd be more.

the Forte is going to be missed, you could actually get one with a stick
if you get the coupe model. the 4 door was the volume seller,
but it was a nice Civic alternative if you wanted a sporty look.
so I'll be curious how this new K4 will go, im not quite feeling that front end,
but im sure it'll grow on people. still the Forte was a interesting car,
but the one that sold more was the Optima. the Kia Optima especially the
2012 - 2015 model was a really good car for Kia at the time, the 2017 - 2019 i wasn't
feeling that gen as much. but instead of Kia keeping it,
they decided to get rid of it, why the Optima was their best selling sedan.
so while I'll miss the Forte, it didn't sell all that well compared to the Optima.
it was the opposite for Hyundai, the Sonata sold decent, but the Elantra sold
extremely well. i see them everywhere, but on Kia's side,
it was the Optima i saw everywhere, the Forte i only saw once in awhile.
still Hyundai had a better sales record for the Sonata, and especially the Elantra.

Alex, do you know when Kia dealers will start selling these 2025 Kia K4 sedans The legendary expert car reviewers Drew & Mason Hardest Brothers from Car Confections stated that they will be sold from Q3 2024 but then their arch nemesis, car reviewer Sofyan Bey said it will only be sold from December 2024, so who's correct
reply

FIAT in the 2000s: Let's move all expensive features like headlights inboard onto pillars, etc, to get them out of the most common crash zones and lower everyone's insurance rates.
Kia 2024: Let's make really expensive headlights and make them the entire crash zone.

Not sure why anyone still buying Honda, Toyota. The Kia Hyundai sedan segment is far superior, the style, features, price and the biggest of all, the warranty that come with it. Hands down the best looking cars, suv, EV's coming out of Korea. In my opinion.

If Chevrolet made a cheaper version of the Cadillac CT4 it would be a slightly more attractive version of than thing. I’m not sure why Kia thinks they’re now the cheap Cadillac alternative but it is so delusional of them and cute to watch.

I think Kia are in the middle of their Citroen-Era. Where cars get a healthy dose of weird/random that neither helps nor hurts function. As someone who likes design, I think this car is kind of fun. But it's a pretty blah car.
reply

Very handsome. BUT it will have to have an independent rear suspension. I'll NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy a car without an independent rear suspension, again. I tried that with at 2014 Elantra and it was horrible.

Generally looks pretty good but don’t understand the black cladding and lack of sport back. Also how is kia still only getting 140hp out of their 2L Mazda has had 155 for 11 years. Is it just an old engine
reply

Looks aside this is literally an Elantra withOUT the hybrid option but Kia cultists (why does such a thing even exist) and trolls pretend it's magically much better for absolutely NO REASON
reply

Do you think this could cut down on the sales of K5 I feel like this vehicle is very similar to K5 and may offer more than enough amenities to meet the regular buyer's needs.
reply

Humm, where is Hybrid, Plug-in Hybrid or Electric model of K4 Kia releases multiple varients of each model but what happen with K4 Only standard engine and Turbo engine.
reply

What is with every manufacturer's obsession with improving the volume knob
Newsflash: It can't be improved. Leave it alone.
Very cool interior, though! I like it.

reply

Not liking the blocky shape of the remnant window on the back passenger side. Completely interrupts the flow of the line. Otherwise it’s a nice looking car.
