The EcoBoost is automatic only now. If you want a manual, it has to be with the V8. Its sad how much the price of the Mustang has gone up. I bought one new in 2016, and a new one with the same options is 15K more. Earlier this year I was looking for a new sports car, and ended up getting a BRZ. I got a Limited with additional STI parts for 32K. Yes a Mustang GT is much faster, but it is way more expensive. And the 2. 3L being auto only makes it uninteresting as a cross shop. But I have always loved the Mustang (Have owned several, just wasn't in the cards this time around.

I am so ready for the Mustang to go full sports car. I hope the next generation is an all new modular chassis that includes all the learnings from the GTD with double wishbone suspension, no rear seats, front mid engine placement and a transaxle DCT and 6 speed. If they need to have rear seats, make a sedan version called Falcon. Oh, and make it a real lift back. Now that the Vette is mid engined, Ford needs to take over the front engined sports car market!

3: 23 Whoa, your old Jeep Commanche project car is still lurking in the background! It's been like 10 years since you did a video on it. My Mustang comment: I had a 2015 GT Premium for 5 years and I sure miss it. I sold it because my wife had cancer. I always thought I'd get another, but at these prices Heck, I feel a BMW 850i coupe closely resembles the Mustang. Obviously, that's a 6-figure car, available with AWD, but a used, low miles one seems more affordable.

Dislike the interior and the unaffordable price of the GT Mustang. $50k for a base ish GT is ridiculous and flies in the face of the ethos of what the Mustang was all about. At the very least, they should give you the superior Tremec TR6060 gearbox instead of the trash Getrag MT82 in the GT. Very disappointed with Ford lately. When the majority can’t afford a Mustang, it’s safe to say they lost the plot.

i’ve been here 21 years in northern California and this is the first time I seen a charger and challenger car club and I see 62 100 Mustangs cruising every day so now what’s up leave the Ford alone bro I know you like it because you’re talking about it and when Dodge comes back, they’re still shitty cars at steam McQueen’s Mustang that shit took a really beating didn’t it

It may be the only Pony car but it's extremely overpriced. The build quality doesn't justify it or the performance. It may seem like a lot of horsepower, but a 382 horsepower Supra would eat it for lunch. I'd never pay BMW M2 money for a Mustang with really poor panel gaps and materials.
Look at the battery cover. You should judge the entire car's build quality by that. Trust me.

Having cross shopped the (manual) Mustang and M2, I agree that they drive pretty similarly. In my opinion, the M2 has a bit better ride, way better steering feel, but a terrible shift feel. For a daily driver, the Mustang wins hands down due to the shift feel alone. If I were to buy a track car, I'd take the M2 but realistically I will rarely, if ever, make it to a track.

I specced out a fairly loaded 2024 GT on Ford's website to 63K last year. The exact same car for 2025 is now 68K. Five thousand dollars more for the exact same car! Ridiculous. Actually, I take that back, it's not the exact same car--the 2025s don't have wireless charging, so you're actually paying significantly more for slightly less car. Nice going, Ford.

who gives a shit about a Corvette lease. The Ford Mustang is still selling and doing good. Look at the 64 1/2 Mustang keep up the good work with the video and you’re doing good. Take care. I had a Mustang I miss it. I want another one, but I’m thinking about getting a Porsche instead, take care, bro

real bummer to see the American OEMs retreat from affordable performance, especially since Ford dropped the manual option from the ecoboost. I guess young car folks are just supposed to live off of early 00's mustangs and camaros but they aren't exactly making more of those

Alex, Approximately 30 years ago when you were learning to drive a manual in a 30 year old Mustang, was it a 4 speed or a 3 speed In terms of Mustang nostalgia, at the time
Vanilla Ice was hot, I can remember that a 5. 0 LX cost around $12, 000.

Let's be honest everyone! BMW 4 Series Coupe stole the Mustangs entire side profile. And no a Mustang could never look like a Camero IF THE CHEVY LITERALLY DESIGNED THEIR MODELS AFTER MUSTANG . thats called gaslighting lol

My first nearly-new car was an ex-demo 2004 Mustang GT, and I loved it. Never crashed it either - except one time someone ran a red light and hit me and another car. I think the Fox body styles have aged really well.

I don’t think a GTD is a corvette competitor when it costs twice as much as the highest spec’d vette. I think they’re trying to chase Porsche or maybe even Ferrari (but again, not in Ferrari price range.

With the prices of new sports cars becoming so insane with each model year passing and no true performance gain other than a more heavy car and price.
A used C6 Corvette or C7 never looked better.

I like the mustang especially the Shelby gt500 but it would be a toss up between the gt500 or the challenger due to its roominess and honestly a more bat$#! t crazy experience.

I have owned 4 mustang gt, if chevy didn't make a comeback in 2010 to give ford some competition, ford would've still been putting 300hp in their mustangs.

I have a fully loaded 2024 Mustang GT premium. Just to warn you the magneride suspension is not customizable and will be locked to each drive mode.

I’m with you on your taste of the fox body mustang. But this current one is a close second. If ford have only used the GTD’s front end instead.
