and then there are going to be the sort-of regular versions of the Soul. Thats awesome news for me right now. I like the 2020 Soul but was concerned that Id be restricted to one of the two trims, the GT or X-Line, when what I really wanted was just a regular version. I dont want to pay extra for the turbo GT nor the body-cladding of the X. I was thinking maybe Ill have to buy a 2019 Soul to retain that regular look. But, now that I know the regular version is coming in 2020, Ill definitely pass on the 2019. Everything seems noticeably improved in the new 2020, except for the wrap-around rear lights, so Id much rather wait for that. This time next year.

Anybody else interested in the Honda passport? I like that it has the tried and true 3. 5 and is able to tow 5, 000lbs while still getting decent fuel mileage, only part that stinks is I hate to pay all that money for it and mostly drive something else because we are on the road a lot, we go up to Wrightwood California for Phoenix at least once to 2x a month and round trip is nearly 670 mile X2 not including anything else, the outback, crv, and RAV4 hybrid attract me but their towing is limited to 1, 500lbs thats rather minut in my opinion.

Toyota needs to hire some designers to clean up the loos of their line of cars. I cant believe Toyota put that big mouth grill on the Corola. I was hoping that was a design fad that is going away. I do think its smart for Toyota to put the Prius power plant in the Corola for a better looking car (we owned 2 Prius) - except for that grill. The most interesting cars, in my opinion, are the Kia and Hyundai lines.

The Palisade is the SUV Genesis needs to go up against the new Lincoln Aviator, BMW X7, and Mercedes GLS; I think Hyundai fumbled on this one, its too nice to compete with Durango and Explorer, and anyone paying Palisade money will also want a luxury brand to come stamped on the sheet metal.

Suv wise, Lincoln and Hyundai are getting my votes. The aviator stayed true to the concept, keeping its classy looks and much more upscale interior compared to other Lincolns. The Palisade was unexpected for what it is (Was not expecting all those features in a Hyundai.

I dont get the obsession with the Gladiator. Its a FCA product, so quality/reliability will be worst in the industry and its going to be absurdly overpriced. The Jeep-like features that everyone is fawning over wont come close to justifying the likely 50k price tag. No thanks.

Loved the Mazda3 until I saw the c pillar area. Definitely looks weird and dont think itll grow on me. Liked the sedan quite a bit. Owned a 15 GT 5 door, will looks to test drive the new model. The interior is amazing for the segment.

I think the new Mazda 3 hatchback is ugly and VERY dysfunctional. I think it begs the question, Why Bother? I say that because, to me, one of the reasons for a hatchback is the increased room. Theres hardly any there

The Palisade is the largest SUV Hyundai has built, not the largest vehicle it has sold in the US. The Equus has a 5 inch longer wheelbase than the Palisade and is almost 7 inches longer overall than the Palisade.
