Damn, this really needs AWD or an LSD. If they aren't going to do this (basically making a Sonata N) then at least give us the option for the N baby blue color and delete the sunroof since it will only make the N-Line more expensive than it needs to and it wont be as sporty. Seriously though, it is a huge mistake for them to not make a Sonata N and yet they'll be making a Tucson N.

Actually, Toyota usually does not have a suped-up engine in it's TRD models. It's often just improved suspension, brakes, some body kit (air dam, side sills, diffuser, wing/lip, bling (badges, stitching, belts, seats) and perhaps a better exhaust. Will need to see after official launch whether this compares well against the Camry TRD.

Wow Hyundai is killing it Almost 300hp to the front wheels though? Probably not fun -- especially in the wet. I'm sure they have to limit torque in the first 2-3 gears.

I see this engine ending up really great for tuning. Stock at 290hp shows great potential - I wonder how much boost the stock tune targets. Could end up in the Veloster N in the future?

There's a rumour that the all new Kia Optima might have 2. 5 T-GDi engine with AWD trim available for NA market only which Kia may replace that model with Stinger.

Interesting how the interior tech in this car makes basically the entire Genesis lineup look INCREDIBLY dated, particularly the G70 with its tiny center screen.
