i like how u admit the part where u said how ford did not release payload and power output to their engines because as always they wait till chevy release there outputs then they make theres to tow more, but again u said it, u saying they have the same 10 speed, but have u interview chevy, they specifically said its made in-house but certified by Allison meaning Allison was there to approve it, not ford, thats why its still called the Allison transmission, and i know chevy aint gone do a heavy duty transmission with ford cause if u did not kno, fords transmissions have a habit of blowing up, u never heard a chevy transmission blowing up yet

Ford wont release anything because they thought they were gonna be top dog, and now they have to work more on figuring out how to get more power out of their engine and also raise up the 35, 000lb bar for towing. Ram and Chevy both showed what they have, Ford is going back to board to see what else they can do before giving it all away. either way Ram and Chevy are my favorites but Ram always has the best interior features and the only Diesel sounding engine left. the others you cant even hear under the hood until you pin the crap out of them, or remove the stock exhaust and emissions

All these trucks are overpriced Keep what you got or go with older models with lower miles The consumer needs to put these manufacturers in check with the prices They are abusing consumers with the prices And yes the designers of the new Silverado need to be FIRED That is one ugly ass Silverado And why do you need 1000 ft/lbs of torque? Folks that cant ride a bicycle are driving these trucks pulling heavy loads that cant handle it With that much torque you should have a CDL

Ford is smart with their vehicle launches. They wait until the competition shows their hand and then theyre able to make some tweaks if needed in order to beat the competitions numbers. Dont be surprised if the diesel beats Rams 1000 ft lbs of torque with like 1025 or 1050 ft lbs. Theyll likely beat the 35, 500 towing max of GMs heavy duty trucks even if its only by 100 lbs. Ford will make sure they beat the competition even if its by one digit.

The Chevy one ton Duallys back in the 90s had an option for a 454 Big Block do your homework Do a car guy like me you literally just sounded like a Salesman at a used car dealership that likes to f people over to get a bigger paycheck. A 7. 3 liter gasoline engine is roughly 9 cubic inches shy of a big block 454.

Fords current generation interior is more durable than rich. You are paying for capability, but now all the trucks are highly capable. If you want to impress your friends with a swanky interior, get the Ram. Looks like Ford will be announcing a 36k towing number in the weeks to come, and Ram will got to 37k for the 2020 model year.

You are full of shit on the transmissions. Gm uses an allison and Ford uses there own trans, they dont even look the same if you look at them side by side. Just because ford co-developed the f150 transmission with them doesnt mean they did with this one. People need to get there facts straight before they report it.

They to big and balky to square in the front and way to much plastic in the front. I use to be a Ford guy but not any more. Another thing i hate is when they actually have a great engine they discontinued it and try to make a better one in which most times its worst then the one they replaced it with

Hi Alex. Nice preview, and as others have said, the 6. 2L Boss V8 will be the base engine. The new 7. 3L is intriguing not only because it is the biggest displacement gas V8, but it is also Fords return to an OHV valvetrain. Looking forward to seeing how much power and torque the 7. 3L makes.
