One of the problems with this design trend making sedans sportier by lowering and lengthening them is that it also makes them harder to park in tight spaces. I could easily fit an average crossover in my garage, but some of these large modern sedans would make things a bit tight end to end. Long wheelbase + lower clearance + larger rims = easier to scrape the undercarriage or puncture a tire. I like the sleeker look of most sedans, but there is a point where I don't want a sports car; I just want to get to work or go to the store without being worried about getting high centered.

Kia needs a new badge. It hasn't changed since their days of building cheap junky cars and it just doesn't fit the direction they are trying to go as a brand. It's funny too that the Camry doesn't need the added future repair costs of a turbocharger yet both engine options for that car produce more power. Regardless, no one is buying this to go racing in. Majority of ones I see now are Avis or Hertz rental cars.

Looks good. I think Kia and Hyundai are doing a great job. I assume it's FWD which unfortunately doesn't do it for me. Also the gear shifter looks like something from the 80s when the average car started to be fitted with automatic transmission. I hope they do a refresh to the Stinger soon. The infotainment screen really lets that car down. Only my opinions.

LOVE Kia's new styling direction! This car looks very premium(I'm sure you have to get the GT for it to look this good. The front end is certainly unique, if the rear does recall the current Audi A7(I see Peter Schreyer is definitely keeping his former Audi designs firmly in place at Kia, not a bad thing at all. If Kia manages to keep prices

Tired of automakers trying to force buyers into crossovers by making sedans lower and lower so you drop into the seats and then also cutting headroom.
Part of the reason people are buying crossovers is not because they love crossovers and need to carry bulky cargo, but because sedans are becoming impractical for transporting adults.

Not sure if like. I really like all the older models of Optima. They always looked fresh even today.
New up and coming looks hmmm interesting. Interior looks great.
But it's outside looks a bit over-fussy. Maybe trying too hard perhaps.
Yes, probably best viewed in the flesh.
Oh yeah, K5 no, Optima yes.

Definitely looks better than the Sonata. I can t stand all the new raves about making cars lower to the ground. I rather have good clearance for going through snow in the winter without needing an SUV. I also do maintenance on my cars and these lower riding vehicles are difficult to drive onto a normal pair of ramps.

Alphanumeric names don t generally fly all that well in America unless it s coming from a German luxury brand with an insanely large and complex lineup. Lincoln started it, and is now ditching it; no one understand s Lexus s and Acura s lineups; and Cadillac is planning to bring back real names in a couple years

Kia out here coming for a bigger of every. single. pie! Look at this thing! Just look at it! Bold and angry-looking without having a massive whale mouth for a grille! I love it! Thanks for the early upload Alex!

I love the chrome trim that goes to the trunk lid. Maybe they didn t add AWD with 2. 5 turbo because of the Stinger? But then again, the Stinger doesn t sell well at all, so I don t know.
