why is the new ford escape not in any of the size competition lists?
8. 6 seconds and still25 ave. mpg? um, that is silly wrong.
if having a third row removes actual cargo are, then forgettaboutit. this is the only reason i will never consider the Mazda cx9. never use the third row and it takes up what already is limited space.
i THINK flashing this engine is REALLY easy.

I just bought a new '19 Alltrack this week. I honestly don't know why anyone would consider a crossover when such a great AWD wagon is available, other than if you MUST have the 3rd row. Also HOLY CRAP VW STOP WITH THE HALOGEN LIGHTS. Ugh. I bought the Alltrack SEL partly to get the nicer lights for sure, would have had to get the Ed's reps LED ones if I had gone with the S.

I am curious why you didn t compare the best selling CX-5 as a competitor? I cross shopped both of these. I liked the interior of the Tiguan but I didn t like the handling or acceleration. The + - on the gear selector was also backwards as you mentioned. I bought the CX-5 which sacrificed interior and cargo space but I have a much better driving CUV

My wife has owned a 2018 SEL-P for the last two years. Overall very happy but it needs more power and when you punch it, the sounds are not pleasant. Coming from a 2013 RDX, I really miss the smooth V6 it had. The technology is my favorite.

Halogen headlights are a shame. More shameful if the low beam is not a projector housing but reflector (seems like so from the video.
