Hopefully I'll get to measure that soon. I fully appreciate that Alex, with his roller bag score does a more thorough job describing cargo utility spaces in his reviews than most anyone else out there, but it's time to also start bringing a tape measure to your shoots. Even a small key-chain sized one would do the trick. Because manufacturer supplied cu. ft. figures are confusing at best, and always deceptive. I'll never forget, for example that the Camry Hybrid trunk also gets a 5 on the roller bag score.

One thing I really don't understand is why so many companies are producing these extreme off road vehicles when nobody really needs a vehicle for that. It's a hobby, leave it to the Wranglers. People wanted manual transmissions but manufacturers said it was too expensive for the limited market. It seems like more people would want a manual than people who drive their vehicles over big stones for fun.

I suspect, like the Highlander and Pathfinder, that Honda will update the Pilot to have an 8-way power passenger seat after a model year or two. Toyota in particular, alongside propagating their new infotainment, have brought 8-way power passenger seats across the board to the Limited trims. The 12 Infotainment screen from the Accord is also an easy upgrade for the mid-cycle refresh.

Not concerned with diameter of LCD screens, more so the software. What a waste of an opportunity to separate themselves. The front seats are cheap and more important for me on road trips. Elite trim is way overpriced! Wonder how long for the refresh?

The pilot is already best in class along with the telluride and palisade
I ve said this before and I ll say it again:
Honda and Acura are the only Asian brands who can truly compete with Hyundai Kia genesis and it really shows

The manufacturers legroom numbers are not comparable and often misleading. The video clearly shows that this has a lot of legroom. It would be MUCH better to measure the legroom yourself instead.

The removable second row middle seat is a game changer. I sell cars and so many people ask if a vehicle has a pass thru middle. If it's removable on all trims that's going to help this Pilot sell.

I loved your review of the Acura TLX TYPE S and I almost bought one but I need more space as the Acura was too small and too compromise can t wait to finish! This video

Very handsome overall. Not sure I love the second row center seat option. But I guess it is practical, but don't know why I'd ever remove it as you then have no armrest.

Bigger screen = better is consumer idiocy, frankly. Why would you want to have to move your hand around more to interact with controls while you're driving?

Looks like a refreshed Ford Explorer on the exterior. Wish we could get that panoramic roof in other Hondas. Don t like the two tone interior either.

21 MPG, really? It s 2023, where any number of EVs deliver 100+ MPGe and 300+ miles of range. Dinosaurs still walk the earth, evidently.
