I really like the look of it. but I think it would have been better if they had extended the front wheels closer to the front of the car. Seeing the profile of the car shows that 70's era amount of overhang. I think a lot of people will scrape the underside of the overhang if they have a slight bump to get onto their driveway. Having a longer wheelbase would likely improve the ride as well.
I think, considering the poor headroom, they should bring back the Accord wagon and make it have a sleeker rake at the back of the hatch to still give it a sleek look. The silhouette of the Volvo V90 and the Audi wagons look amazing while being more practical than the sedan.

I had planned to buy the new Touring - but it seems like Honda just went too cheap on a 40k car. I was hoping for AWD. Also, no heated steering wheel, no laminated glass, one seat back pocket? The CRV weighs 400 lbs more, has AWD, laminated glass, and heated steering wheel - yet costs the same? Is it just me or are others confused by the missing content. 40k is real money and a person can get something much nicer (ES350 no markups now and still have sweet v6 option - and trust me they even include two seat back pockets) if they find a car one year old. I say this as a life long honda fan boy!
Looks like my shopping continues.

It is so dumb of manufacturers to push back the rear seats for a useless amount of legroom and reduce the headroom this way. What's the point of all that legroom? If they mounted the rear seats 1 further forward it would still have enough legroom for everyone (including child seats) and it would actually fit taller people this way bc it would have more headroom if the rear seats were in a position where the roof is higher up.
I wish sedans had sliding rear seats.

Only Alex touches on the fact that there is room for a spare tire. I'm sad to see the 2. 0T go, but the Accord Touring will still probably be my go to if my TSX V6 ever dies on me.
BTW, Alex mentioned the center vents not closing. Most Japanese car brands, apart from Lexus and Infiniti, don't make cars with closing center vents. I always found that super annoying. My TSX has closing center vents, which is one of the reasons I bought it over the TL.

Too much emphasis has been placed upon drag coefficient. It is fine for sports cars but not important for passenger carrying cars. Who ever is designing these cars should be forced to sit in the rear for extended time periods. I am not impressed with the new Hondas and their competitors. Time to get back to reality of the size of Americans and not those of shorter stature. Clean freaks will despise the inside grill. Not impressed.

A suggestion how your videos would get even better: Take a tape measure and measure combined legroom and headroom yourself. Only takes a few seconds. Manufacturers numbers are misleading, not comparable. For example in your video of the Legacy you said yourself that you had more headroom and that your head didn't touch anything, the better headroom was visible too, yet the official numbers don't show it.

One quick piece of (hopefully) constructive feedback: I find a lot of reviewers don t provide more than a surface level NVH readout. Given that you already do the measurements, it might be helpful to include a table to the right with comparable vehicles you ve tested.

Even on this top trim, there's no way to hide that infotainment panel on the far-right (the one that shows audio, compass, or power flow, except in CarPlay? Not even a way to make the built-in nav display fullscreen? That's annoying. And no heated steering wheel, in 2023, in a top trim? That alone might be a dealbreaker for some LOL (me)

It seems as though Honda cheaped-out a bit on this Accord. The non-adjustable seat height/tilt, lack of rear headroom, no all-wheel drive, and the inclusion of interior gloss black, are, in there totality, non-starters for me. It is the best looking Accord that I ve seen to date, unfortunately that s just not enough.

The EV drive button (in Toyota anyway) helps keep the car running on the battery, which is nice when parking for a long time in colder climates, it uses the engine's residual heat as long as it can to keep the interior warm. If that's not on the engine will start every minute or two.

Too many misses for me; No heated steering wheel, no AWD, and not even at least a 6-way power passenger seat. All of which you could easily get a on similarly priced crossover that also has a hatch and extra ground clearance to boot. It's no wonder the sedan market is shrinking.

Alex, What is the point of leg room without head room? 7: 22 No wonder sales of sleek, 'swoopy' sedans continue to crater while practical CUVs grab more and more market share. As long as the Accord is, the back seat is useless for full-size adults.

I'm disappointed in the exterior of this vehicle. Its very bland and looks like a Nissan Altima. Also there is almost no reason purchase this vehicle over the slightly smaller Civic. I might just purchase a new 2022 Accord. SMH
