Can't help but feel that there is an element of bias between the journalists here towards the Aston; I felt there were far too many justifications of the Aston's flaws, from the quality of the materials, the infotainment (last gen Mercedes, bettered by a current generation A class, the gear box and no comments were made about rear seat accommodation or boot space which surely are important considerations for a GT vehicle. All these were overlooked in favour of a marginally sharper drive.

In all the Continental reviews, you can see that chrome pinstripe on the fascia isn't matching the part with the rotating display two backsides (plain and gauges. I didn't choose this option because I've seen one review before and I just don't like a chrome stripe on the wood veneer. That mismatch would drive me insane. It's one thing when the wood pattern doesn't match for 100%, because it's just impossible when there are two wooden backsides, but that gap in he chrome stripe.

The Bentley is really glorious! Aston is more plain conventional inside and should lately get a nicer steering wheel. Beautiful cars both but if you want to feel connected to the car while driving and have actually fun driving, these GT-type of cars generally aren-t the way to go. uhhm. to drive.

I think the Aston Martin is a lovely car and has a signature look and sound. But for me, the Bentley has enough power, but all the luxury, class, and performance I need for a long distance, comfortable cruiser (aka a GT car. Great review though guys. Just a couple of mates talking about cars!

Bentley really perfected the art of driving and comfort with this new GT. It-s amazing. Aston is nice but not in the same class when it comes to fit and finish. Both great cars in their own right but Bentley wins hands down given the similar price point.

I personally think the last-gen of these cars look better db9/dbs are timeless I and don't think the db11 will be and same for old Continental.

Aston Martin all the way. In the future Aston Martin for their GT should follow Vallhala for their intertiment/mobile phone and interior.
