I'm not surprised at all that it just wants to understeer. When I took my GR Yaris on the skid pan at Thruxton it was very good at driving in a straight line under power, but once you yanked the sideways stick you could do a full lap drifting. I'm guessing the the two LSD's help a lot here.

Oh well, they can't really drift. Drifting is the last thing you'd actually want or need on the track or bad UK weather. I'd much rather have an AWD hyperhatch that is fast no matter the weather. If you want a car for pointless drifting then buy an old BMW.

I'm not even going to watch this click bait lol. Power oversteer in the wet isn't drifting. A car with an electronic parking brake and no clutch pedal is incapable of proper drift initiation.

Going on my own experience of the surface at Thruxton, the grip levels are, in my opinion, too low to offer a meaningful test or experience. I was left surprisingly disappointed.

Seems like it's designed to allow a little sideways movement only to instantly nanny you back in line. You would need to constantly guess how much power the system is sending to each end.

Both the Golf and the A45 are predominantly FWD, rubbish, especially considering you can buy an MX-5 for half the price of the Mercedes
