The people who buy these car's aren't going to take them to -track days- so Breaking, Acceleration, Handling. make no difference.
As to comfort? well the Porsche wins. but just.

Obviously the Panamera Turbo is a better performing car, and it's not even the top model. You can't base which of these two cars are better based on looks, In my opinion the Aston is ok looking inside and out, while the Porsche is beautiful inside and out. And the sound, yes the Aston does sound nice but if this guy wasn't an Aston fan boy and flicked on the Porsche's sport exhaust, then I would say the Porsche sounds better. Stig. i would say based on your comment about the Porsche's looks you haven't actually seen one in person. I have and it's very attractive, but not at all photogenic. I seen the Aston too and yes, it's gorgeous, but the question was -Which is the better supercar? Not which is subjectively better looking. You can't have a competition and place 2nd in every category and be a winner. That's like saying the 2nd place finisher in the World Cup won the World Cup. Very fuzzy logic.

-inkjet121158 Supercars aren't just about outright performance. Sure, the Panamera outperforms the Rapide but you'll be having some great fun in the Rapide. And pretty much every review I've seen written about the Porsche claims it as very well built and a superior performer, but it's far too clinical and is uglier than a baboon's arsecheek.
This is also part of the reason why even though it's actually quite terrible, the Maserati Quattroporte outclasses both of these cars.

I love Porsches but the Panamera although not as ugly as the Brits say -Jeremey turns his head away when he spots one- but the Rapid is more beautiful. I'd still buy the Panamera given an infinite supply of money. Sportier, more comfortable -air suspension one really is-, and more utility-suited. Add to this that Porsche in 2012 was ranked as the most reliable car maker -more than even Toyota-, it'll suit my 40-50k per year driving to own for 5 years at least.

have you seen the one-77, and porsche didnt even change their design so much since they make the first one. eventhough the aston has not change the styling but its still beautiful. and aston has change ther style have you ever seen the old virage its so different and old aston looks a bit like mustang but now they dont ever share any design so please if you dont know anything about cars, do a research first before you talk

Never understood why British reporters (Top Gear, autocar and these men) are always trying to compete to see who can be the most biased? Sure, be proud over your country Automobile Heritage, but do not lie to your viewers about the reality. How can Porsche lose this comparison when they were better in everything, except the appearance, which is a personal opinion?

-inkjet121158 I agree with you that the Porsche is the better car, but the rear end of the Panamera is just hideous. So hideous in fact, that its enough to be a deal breaker for some buyers. To be honest, I'd rather have the Quattroporte Sport GTS than either of these two, even though the Panamera probably performs better than that too.

In a british TV Show the Aston must be better -even if the Panamera is beats it in every category- because Aston Martin is the only make the Britons can be proud of because it is in British Hand. Landrover and Jag belong to Tatra Motors (Indish company, Rolls Royce to BMW, Bentley to VW and Lotus to Proton malaysian company

Porsche took off late yet finished first. It braked late too, yet stopped first. It has better build quality. Better utility features such as boot space. Only problem is it lacks the noise or the looks of the Aston. But Aston would be a better choice if you have enough money for the price + the maintenance costs.
