It is not ugly. But I think Toyota made a mistake by following the Overdesign trend. Toyota are known for sober design that grows on you thanks to legendary reliability and adequate performance. It seems Toyotas they make for Europe are plasticy boxes with noisy transmissions and woefully inadequate engines. Tax dodging tiny engines are the pitfall of European cars. Never again I will buy anything with that crummy 1. 8 VVTi Toyota makes. Noisy underpowered garbage that prone to drink oil. I owned Toyota Camry in US and that car (albeit ugly) is miles ahead in ride quality and reliability compared to European Toyotas. Truly a shame they make junk for this market.

check the seats at the back. You will be seated uncomfortable very low in the car and also the rear window is placed way above the head level of an average person. Anyone going in the back will feel like in prison. They seem to have rushed this model to market and did not the specs right.

TRD needs to make an actual performance model of this. Put a 1. 8L turbo with 200hp/tq and I am sold. Toyota, you have the reliability/comfort/resale value down packed for years. Can you please put some actual performance back into your brand instead of just -sporty- cosmetics.

This is the first -SUV- which actually interests me in the slightest (currently driving a gt86. But it needs a more gutsy engine choice. A V6 would be nice: D

went to see it in a showroom. did not like it. its very claustrophobic at the back, something they could have taken care of with more glass. you wondar sometimes how top designers can miss something like that.

The updated version of this car is improved the refinement I-ve got one the model what car advised the icon teck pack got used so saved a fair few quid a great buy and cheap too run

Guys Prius doesn't have CVT but eCVT, those 2 don't have anything in common except for name. eCVT has planetary gearset and electromotors instead of belts.
