It may be a brilliant car but its one of the ugliest cars Mercedes has ever made. The front looks ghastly, with that massive ugly grill and huge badge. It feels like Merc are too full of themselves. The front and the rear don't look like they belong on the same car. I think the 911 Turbo S looks waaaaay better and its better value for money as well.

The coupe is lighter, cheaper, and faster, a proper sports car that is faster than GTRs around tracks. Getting the roadster, you might as well get a C63s convertible which can have basically the same engine, exhaust note and power, but save 60 grand?

With this amazing car from AMG one wonders why the SL is not cancelled? This AMG is more of a true heir to the 1950's SL.
Or, one could make the case why this is not called the SL? Have Mercedes made a big mistake here?

When you cut away from our host someone else with hair is driving and with the top down when you have it up! We can see this and it's just odd editing. Otherwise great show as always.

Great piece of kit. Obviously not as sharp as a 911 turbo cabriolet (none of its variants are, but they all make up for that in aesthetics and obviously with that amazing V8 sound.
