Give the lad his due, he seems to know a lot more about Jaguars than many people I meet. A few errors (theXJ220 was first shown in the 80s, yes but produced in the 90s) and no, the D-types, lightweight E-types nor the XKss's are correct to the original specification. Negative earth and electronic rev counters are just two errors, but there are plenty. They showed a few of the Dr James Hull collection they acquired, but there were a number they didn't, including his XKSS registered DS 11, and a few other notables. Never mind, I enjoyed it.

I was at the british motor museum jist yesterday and it seems so important to show that with good reason, a lot of those cars have not been restored to as new condition.
I like the project very much but It does blur the line between the museum and the showroom, between history, consumerism and revisionism. I hope JLR are cautious of erasing the history and baggage these cars arrive with.

Finally stumbled across this vid Batch, & as a Jag fan myself as you can imagine i really liked it. I'd love to visit this place but i feel i'd need many days to view it all & i have so many questions to ask about it. Now not to get too geeky but that Montego at 11: 52 really stood out, see so many questions. Keep up the good work -

Fascinating, however, can someone explain why this reporter continually questions his own statements?
It's rather annoying. i. e. -This is fascinating. isn't it- or -This would look so cool in Knightsbridge. wouldn't it? - Occasional questioning is OK, but this makes him sound very unsure of himself.

What did Mr Red Pants mean at the end of the Video when he said he-d love one but couldn-t afford one. Mate you was being paid a one pound for every time you said Jaguar Land-rover Classic and the amount of times you said it you could buy the whole building and all contents ---

I want to like this but real world they are laying their work force off (JLR. If this is a separate company, they want to think about distancing themselves from the brand by namesake. Another classic about to become history. Real Shame.

I've done the tour and it's just heaven. There's a lot more in the Collection than is shown here but they don't allow the general public to take pictures. If you're a petrolhead put a visit on your bucket list.

They'll source a car, then replace the body, the interior, in fact everything if you want and have the money. You end up with a beautiful replica. Anyway for me the interesting part starts at 10: 00.

Blue printed, totally original parts? Holy sh-t, Lucas the Prince of Darkness is reborn. There are some things that should be consigned to the dustbin of history.
