Ford does it again! Why do they always make the 'Facelift' model's looks worse than the original car? I haven't driven an example of the current Corsa, but I would be surprised if it handles as well as a Fiesta. I know its subjective, but the Corsa is, to my mind the better looking car - maybe that is why it's outsold the Ford product lately. Perhaps somebody can provide a better explanation.

Looks far better with the happy 'face' rather than the standard generic aggressive look most makes have now, Porsche being an exception. Ford does seem to have followed in the Korean footsteps the same as BMW & Merc though with many designs copied from Pyongyang.
Also good it's mainly going to be produced as a 5dr. 3dr hatches are just a pita for rear seat passengers.

Ordered a Fiesta in August, due delivery Nov/Dec/Jan - my order cancelled by Ford because of the new model coming into production in April - Ford say I can wait for one May/June time and pay extra for the privilege!
Anyone else got one on order? - I'd check with your dealer if I were you!
No more Fords for me!

Hopefully the MK9 looks better and improves power, all I've seen since the MK7 ST200 is a worse looking car with no more performance. I'm trading in my ST200 for an I20N, other than the interior upgrades Fiesta's are going backwards. no wonder people are making the switch to the learner mobile, I mean Corsa.

I have a late model 2011 Fiesta and the 2022 Fiesta still looks like a facelifted model. underneath the cosmetic panels and minor internal changes its the same car still. What happened to Ford re-working the cars design every 8 or so years. its look very dated now.

It is disappointing that enough people drive the wrong way that it is a selling feature to have a sensor for that. Maybe, just maybe, if we took those people-s licenses away we could save the planet for a couple more years.

I think when it comes to small hot hatches the market it pretty much locked down by the polo GTI, Fiesta ST and the I20N so in that retrospect Vauxhall will never be able to compete, as they have done away with VXR.

I'm thinking about the new '22 Fiesta. Better car in performance it seems while not quite as good looking. Function over form is always my code. Might go for it. Procastination is my middle name. Love the Mean Green.

Wrong way detection and rear passenger warnings. Is it just me that thinks some of these warnings are for people that really should hand their licence in, not buy a new car?
