Reminds me of my Mom's Explorer recently.
Windshield washer fluid would barely squirt out of the jets.
I pull it into the garage, pop the hood and start hitting with windshield washer fluid button on the column, figuring it is prolly a bad pump or a clogged jet, and, as expected, barely anything.
I hope out of the driver's seat, go around to the front of the Explorer, and see the underside of the hood, engine bay, wall, toolbox, and floor are covered in windshield washer fluid.
Midway between the reservoir and the jets on the hood the hose was rotted dang near in half.
A new bit of hose and it was good to go but it sure sucked cleaning the engine bay and garage of the windshield washer fluid that sprayed everywhere.

Great job showing us how it's done, lucky you have all the air tools to make a hard job done ASAP. I'm a retired Construction Mechanic in the Seabees with those specialized tools to repair our equipments, but now just normal DIY type mechanic to fix my own vehicles. I do own a 2001 sport trac explorer and what you showed me was very helpful, but i just let mechanic like you do the job when the time come to replace my ball joints. Thanks again for the simple explanation for a job well done. God bless

Well, here it is April 2020 and I watched this video for the first time. Didn't know this was the famous Big Nasty's first appearance. He's come a long way since this video, and in the 4 yrs. since, I believe he only failed you one time. That's a pretty good record I must say. You are like a kid at Christmas time when he got his favorite toy. Thanks Eric!

No ear defenders? Losing your hearing is a one-way street. Time away from loud noise doesn't make the damage go away. You're future you will thank you for wearing ear plugs. You can get them so they hang around your neck, and then just pop them in when using load tools. You know I mean it good. Peace and love

Hey Eric, with covid-19 happening, I'm catching up on your older videos. You'd think that once you've seen a ball joint change that you wouldn't be interested in any others, but that is not the case. Always something new to see. Nice work, as usual. Stay Safe!

Out here in Riverside, California we rarely see those rusted out suspensions but we do see them every now and then. Sucks when that's mostly what you see most of the time. Keep up the good work.

Yeah I laughed a lot. Also enjoy seeing what tools and parts are used. Great vid. Love your humor and your perspective on things.
