Not an overly complicated repair but it is a repair all the same. So come along and let's have a look at this 2011 Chevrolet Equinox that the wipers quit working on

You should give her a quote for removing that plastic engine and putting a metal one in.
Haha.
A friend showed me his new car, which has the motor covered in a bunch of plastic covers. I said
for 500 I can swap in a metal motor instead of this plastic one. Get at least 100hp from the swap.
He went for it, I pulled the covers off and laughed. Didnt charge him anything. Just joked about how dense he is.
Well worth the 2 month wait it took for him to save the money to play that joke. But hey, at least he saved 500. Which he was very happy about.
Got him to stop drinking as much, to save the money. Sobered him up. Now he doesnt drink anymore.

Yo Eric O, U an Miss O are awesome, thanks for ur uploads, iv been a backyard mechanic for 28 years, I thought I knew a thing or 2 but turns out Iv learned a great deal watching your shop, many times I catch one of ur Diag videos an Usually I call it with in the first minute, but you actually use all your expensive tools to walk us all the way thru, Very nice, plus I don't get the option to afford all the cool tools, watching you use them has got me familiar, thanks for that, appreciate all your uploads, God Bless.

By reference to the start of filming, you set both wiper blades up from their factory settings. The effect will be that both blades get caught more by the wind flowing backwards over the bonnet (hood for Americans) when in park position. This can be rather annoying for the driver and passengers, as there will be rather more wind noise than they are used to.

The bushing is available. at Advanced. 8. 00 for a package of six. cut out the old ones with a knife. press in the new ones and off you go.
for another six months. then another bushing fails. but by that time you are an expert and its a 1/2 fix. annoying but cheaper than the 100. 00 plus

I doubt you read comments on three year old videos but you could wrap your pastic rivet tool handle with electrical tape to help keep from damaging the paint. they also make a plier style that would work for that application.

Not weak at all. It is the first video that I came across that is exactly the same problem that I am dealing with. Most of the time I get half the info I need and have to fight the other half. Thank you very much for this one.

I like to thank you for this tutorial. I had to replace the whole thing today. Wasn't to bad of a job. Of course the issue was the linkage to the motor arm popped off. Using plastic instead of metal was a dick move for GM.

The back rear wiper 3(2006 Pontiac Torrent) seized up on me after I replaced the old crusty wiper blade. I need to figure out the issue or just remove it completely. Great informative vid.
