Rusted gas line? RUST? Yes you heard it right more rust. ahhh music to my ears Simon: Great video as always Eric. You have kept me sane through lockdown, thank you. After watching so many videos and learning so much, I finally have a comment/tip that you might use. Using the double zip ties(as you call them) to space the lines is great. I trick I learnt from karting, was to slide the zip tie through a piece of rubber hose to insulate the to lines apart. I hope you and your family are all staying safe and well

I was a Diesel Truck Mechanic for over 40 years. I am curious as to how you charge the customer for a job like this. Obviously Parts & Labor, but did you add a Fee for the Special Tool usage? In our shop, we would add, what we called Machine Earning. This help pay for the Special Tool itself and the Training required to use it. Unfortunately, I don't recall what the extra Charge was, but I don't think many Shop did this.

Good evening how would you get a 78 Chevy with a 350 diesel going. It won't start and no fuel getting to the intake. It's been parked for about two years. We changed the water separater then it went down hill from there.

Way too elegant and complicated. Two short pieces of fuel line hose, and 4 hose clamps. You'd been done in 1/10 the time. Done it many times. I guess you've got to use those fancy high dollar tools.

Great Video. Thanks for taking all the time to do this. I used to work on cars in the 80's and I need some help for modern cars. Great lighting and description in your video!
