I wonder if you'd be willing to answer a question: On my '99 Town and Country I replaced to fan relay a couple weeks ago and the fan began working but only for a short time. With the engine running I have two positive and two negative readings from the relay now. With the fan connector/plug disconnected both sides coming from the relay show as ground when the fans should be running. I can't get to the fan connector with a tester to check the fans with the connector unplugged.
Any suggestions? By the way, if needed, I would gladly set up a temporary email address to correspond and pay for assistance. I just need it working. Thanks.
(I'm asking you here because you seem to the most knowledgeable that I've seen on how these work)

Thanks for this helpful video. I have a 2002 caravan 3. 3 with the same problem. I followed all of your tests, checking all the wires on the cooling fan relay plug. The only one which failed (wouldn't light the test light) was on the small guage control wire (duty cycle. I checked it with engine on with AC on with hot engine and the control wire did not pulse (dim to bright ) at all. It looks like the fans are not being commanded to run. I have spun both rotors on the fans and they are not seized. How should I proceed? Can I command the fans to run by jumping them? Thanks very much for your time: )

I let a person borrow my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4. 7 lt Magnum V8 and the fan blade flew off into the radiator. Advice don't lend your vehicle out if you don't know the person very well Anyways a couple months before that my ex got into a rear end collision so I no longer have a cooling fan control circuit or the wires that should be there. Now I don't have A/C or heat. I was wondering if there was a way to get around not replacing it all. TY for your time.

I have a 2013 ram CV van cooling fan come on when warm but then will not shut off do you shut the key off everything seems to check out but the check engine light stays on with this existing problem the same thing happens with the AC relay is good motor seems to run well. I can't find any confirmation that it uses a fan control module I don't think it does. Thank you for feedback

OMG another mopar. I hit a fencepost and crunched my relay 2 years ago, and changed it and that was it, boom fans are back on. Now I got no fan operating, a check eng light, and a radiator fan code. Had to happen the first day of June. Temp sensor, fuse, bad relay, cooked fan motor? Came here first before I looked for my test light which seemed to walk off again.

I don't get 12v on the Orange wire to ground. I tried a jumper between the Orange and Blue with no luck. If I connect from the battery to the Blue wire the Fans come on.
Could you give me a tip where to trouble shoot next. I am temped to get a switch and manually turn on the fans but would like to see what else could be the problem. Thank you

Hi. Wondering if you can help. I replaced my radiator on my 09 Chrysler town and country 3. 3 motor and today the temp needle went passed the middle line 3/4 of the way to hot while stuck in traffic. I heard the fan come on several times. Any ideas?

2004 Grand Caravan. My AC stopped blowing cool. Radiators fans not turning on. Would replacing this relay allow cold air? I hear compressor turning on. Isnt overheating unless Im in city. I do see some overflow. But temperature is good.
