Nice video - by the way, is Mrs. O still considering to get a Jeep? (see SMA A Normal Day at the Shop) I have a ball cap from Jeep Fleet Services way back when the Jeep Cherokees AHB Police Package were being made back then that I just found cleaning out the basement. I could sent Mrs. O some SWAG and you would have to look at the ballcap for a little while. Just promoting some marital harmony here.

I was so disappointed in this video. not one can of brake clean in the whole damn thing! although something tells me if Mrs O wants to get you in the mood she just gives a quick shot of the good stuff on each side of her neck and 1, 2 barbecue! lmfao

Boy, Honda's QC ain't what she used to be.
20 years ago, heads would've rolled for something like this at the factory. Today it's just par for the course - all manufacturers let stuff out the door like this. and the stuff costs more than ever. Sad.

Business to run and all aside, I wouldn't have charged her. I would've used it as a lesson to don't be afraid to try something for yourself. I would've told her lets take a look. Have her use the tools and lend a hand if/when she gets lost.

I would guess that white residue on the inside of the door is from paint preparation (like wet sanding paste. Seen that a lot working around the bodyshop after the panel is prepped. A good indication the panel has been prepped for paint.

ahh man, break clean the white crud then loctite the bolt: D. Wonder why it came loose, not spec from factory or crappy thread fitting.

Since the bolt came loose would it be a good idea to apply some loctite as part of the repair so it doesn't come loose again?
