I collected a bitrhday present for my gosdon, got a small toolbox where I put some old tools that I had gathered around. One of them was a 6 an 8 mm wrench that was made in DDR - yes, East Germany, likely 60's or so. It was in my maternal grandpa's tools, a small excerpt of which was left mo me as a heritage when I was six. He was a tech whiz, repaired cars and different gadgets for the neighborhood, self taught. There was an anecdote in the village that other men do what they can, he does what he wants. Although I'm not a complete dummy as it comes to technology, I haven't even nearly achieved his level of expertise.

The dealer is NOT off the hook. They put an old engine in the car instead of doing the timing and stuff. That explains the carbon and sudden engine problems. Then they had the nerve to ask for 5, 000 for another second hand engine, which in fact would had been the original engine stolen from the car. THIEVES!

I still would rather work on my 350ci 1970 Z/28 Camaro than a rice burner. 54: 24 and that is why I use Seafoam the odd time in the gas tank and I always use Marvel Mystery Oil in the Gas tank during fill up and use nothing but Shell Premium 0% ethanol fuel in my Z/28 and gas yard machines.

Mistake? Nah! That intake manifold was a 'Mild misappropriation of time'
A mistake is being a dumb teenager and thinking I can just buy a new clutch disk and save some money by reusing the old pressure plate and release bearing. oh the binding pedal of shame hahaha!

The trouble with dealerships mechanics the bosses are on you for flat rate times all the time. I know I was a Pontiac mechanic for 27 years. I opened my own shop and made more money with less working hours and less stress and better work. Dealerships suck.

I've watched 100's of videos on U tube and this one is the best quality of all that I've seen. No vertigo from a a bouncing camera, the dialog is of high quality Just the best of the best. I must have missed what the owner said about oil consumption.
