These cheap people irritate the hell out of me. Always wanting something for nothing but then complaining when stuff isn't right. I'm in the repair trade and get these cheap-holes all the time. Expecting me to drive across town and fix their junk for 40. Anymore I just refuse service to them as they are more a pain to deal with then they are worth. Then you will get a few that call back months later crying that their cheap guy ruined their property and want help. I let then know I'm not interested and that they should have had it done right in the first place. If you wanna be cheap you deserve the problems you get as a lot of us guys are sick of dealing with you cheap asses

Great work! I wish the dealerships/local mechanics put this much work into finding the problems I have with my Cruze. Many of which revolve around both leaking coolant and oil. Going to attempt to replace my Valve Cover and/or gasket in a few weeks. I'm pretty sure my water pump needs to replaced to but can never get any real answers around where I live. Good help is hard to find but you my friend are awesome at what you do! Keep up the good work! People still appreciate a hard working, thorough, and honest mechanic so never change no matter how many jobs you don't get along the way! Their loss!

The Chevy Cruz is one of biggest pieces of garbage to roll off the assembly line, everything put into it is cheap. This car will put a person in the poor house with repair bills, fix one thing a week later it's something else and the whole time the dealer says that's normal. GM hasn't made a quality vehicle in 2 decades and that's not going to end soon, the new 2020 impala is platformed off the Cruz. its a joke!

I had a hard to find problem or duplication of the problem on a customers mini van once. Finally talked her into letting me put a capture device on it and showed her how to trigger the simple one touch button. She was WOT in rev when her car would jump surge on its rev limiter delivering news papers lol. The van didnt have a problem needles to say it only had a short between steering wheel and drivers seat.

I would like to think the Chevy dealership in your area knows you and your quality of service. And take your recommendation/diagnosis as what the issues are without giving the customer some BS. Hopefully in the future this guy would bring other work to you. Like I've said before- wished there was a mechanic/ technician like you in Amarillo.

From what I just witnessed, I dont wanna do it!
All that time spent - for what? Long term customer perhaps?
Did you get paid for the time spent? Prob not.
Will you do it all over again on another? Hell yea! Its what I enjoy!

The last place place you want to deal with is the Dealership. I learned this about 50 years ago. Stay local with someone you know. Thanks Eric O for saving us shade-tree mechanics a lot of money in car repairs. Great videos.
