I have a look at a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse 3. 6 that was dropped off with a customer complaint of, stability light, traction control light, ABS light and engine light on. They also noticed that the transmission would not shift. Let's have a look

Bro, first thing I was thinking was you gotta blown trans gender fuse on that General Moneymaker. but then I was in disbelief when I seen you had a bright light when you poked your test thingy in there.
But duuuude you totally found her by goin down and giving her the good old spreadaroo and given her a little extra lovin' down there.
BTW, it always comes out the front when you are doing it correctly
Agreed on the solder connectors. I've found they are not the general go to and are far more dickin around!
Ohhh poor Dick, his name is always used to describe poorly made products.

Eric, you might want to try doing western union splice before using that solder heatshrink. it would be a lot stronger compared to straight solder since you're not relying on the solder alone. even stronger than a crimp. the bad side, you might need to add a bit of wire strands and do double splice since these splice took some length.

It's not the type of solder. It's just solder. It alloys with the wire and the whole thing becomes brittle and doesn't tolerate the shaky environment of a car. I've learned over the years to just stop being a soldering nerd and to just crimp things. Quicker and better.

Chevy Traverse owners outside of manufacture warranty need hazard duty pay.
Edit: Wait. A 2010 still on the road. Whoa. New record for Chevy Traverse. Off course its probably had at least 1 warranty transmission repair.

Heya, Eric! What's your view on the LGBTQ+ Comm? It is June now after all, and it is pride month. I do enjoy your videos but I think the transgender remark was a little uncalled for without any context.

Had the same problem 2 weeks ago, cust brought in his own trans control module in wanting it replaced. After taking apart found same wire coroded, Also why don't you use your sand blaster on brake brackets

GM forgot to put the battery in the car - that's funny stuff. Audi Q7 engineers did the same thing. They are a bear to get to. Thanks, Eric. Always good to watch.

How sharp was that connector edge to chafe the wire? I always use the smallest quarter drive short socket that matches tape width. You're a sharp troubleshooter!

My trunk only opens 1 out of 20 or so pushes maybe sometimes - drive & push the switch & the odds go 1 out of 4 - my car is like my ex wife - except cheaper

BigClive actually recently did a review and tests with the solder butt connectors, junk. Not enough solder to make a solid joint. Keep it up with what you do
