Any advice if the brake pedal feels more solid/stiff when braking compared to more Free flowing My cars an 09 toyota corolla le 136k miles got new pads and rotors up from at around 120k i think. The rear drums are still original theyve just been adjusted throughout time. Do you think its time to jsut replace the rear drums and re adjust the rears? Has new brake fluid as well

Just a heads up, permatex says not to use that particular brake grease on rubber, and a lot of people I've heard have had issues with their caliper pins seizing because the rubber swelled up. They do make one that's a silicone ceramic that's safe on rubber but I just use some 3m silicone grease on the caliper pins

Man, i love the way you work: very methodical, systematic, and organized. You show you care about your custoners vehicles. Other mechanics cut corners and skip some procedures. You make sure you do the job right to avoid come backs. I wish i could take my car to you but i live in South Jersey.

Eric, if the sliding pin has rubber boot, what kind of lubricant you are using. My pin rubber swell after I used Permalax orange, other people complain for all Pemalax brake lubricants like green, purple. . What you think about this problem with pin rubber boot?

Honda makes a silicone brake grease (Silicone Grease A ) its super expensive and doesnt work very well but probably better than anything else on the market, does the Blue Permatex work good? I still havent found a excellent quality lube for slide pins.

Not sure if anyone has experienced this but I am getting repeat vibration issues with Autozone premium brakes. Put the new rotors and pads in and in a month they would develop mild steering shake during braking. Especially on odyssey brakes. Thoughts?

Rap music! when it was named the Rap they spelled it wrong, they left out the first letter, it was meant to read Crap music. That is where they can't sing so they just talk the words.

I'll do the brakes on my wife TL as it has basically the same brakes. This guy is taking the extra effort to do the job right so I shouldn't have problems with her brakes any longer
