By 08: 36 I've yelled so long and hard that my voice is broken! It looks like a ring got on top of the piston and hammered the plug shut. There's a piece of the top of the piston missing and you can see the top of the ring.
I've seen this damage on Eutectic pistons quite a lot - Hmmmmm ---> does Mopar uses Eutectic pistons! Nah! They're too expensive and the bean counters at Mopar won't let THAT happen!
Anyway - void his warranty b/o the K&N and Super Coils! K&N Kills another engine!

My Grand Cherokee is an 03/04 (depending on whether you are talking parts or sale year. Not had a great life, but this one makes me sit up and take notice. I'd like to keep O' Red for several more years, if I can. I'm glad I saw this one; if something happens to it, I know we can put a new engine into it if need be. Not yet, though. It's a faithful truck.

When and at what condition, mileage, .etc. would you say Yep, it's worth it or Heck, dump it for repairs? Would you state that it would be the body shape that determines the fate of the truck or what do you look for in a vehicle when you would recommend an engine replacement or not? When do you pull the plug on a Truck!

This just tells me that reading the spark plugs can give you a huge amount of information that the codes can't.
Seems like a ringland failure - something that can be caused by anything ranging from incorrect fuel mix to metal fatigue. Ringland failure is something that's not unusual on Subaru turbo engines.

Any one know the fix for the cam/crank-shaft issue p0016 & p0344 timing belt well with Eric I should check the wires along the lines first. There was another guy on YT that said it's sludge build up in engine an to flush it out with some deisel in crank case he had same issue I'm having. Lol try em all I quess.

This HEMI! Ram was in the shop there about a year ago. Im a Ford Truck guy and I was having a laugh watching the HEMI! Ram 5. 7 lifter episodes and i noticed this 2004 HEMI! Ram was in for same issue a year ago. Or am I having a stroke? If it's a stroke I apologize.

I had an 2004 5. 7 hemi magnum and the o2Sensors gave me tons of issues it had 4 of em I changed em like 4 time from after market parts found out the hard way with the model I had i had to us OEM parts from Mopar slso it had 16 spark plugs 2 per cylinder

They moved the location of the cam in relation to the crank and now there is very little oil circulation around the lifters and the cam so before watching the video I'm guessing a lifter seized or the cam seized due to lack of lubrication.

Looks to me if that plug was grounded intentionally, to cover something eelse, I purchased 60 Buick with a kiss first thing checked plugs and one was like yours, trapped and found rid knock. Don't know how long your customer had vehicle.

I didn't realize Hemi's were a dime a dozen. I would think that engine was rebuildable. Rod bearings rings & a piston. Hone cylinders Lap valves & she's ready. Drive it like an old lady for a while & see what happens.
