At the end, did I see a brand new, shiny blue car lift, supplied by Not-a-Sponsor. Thanks for the tips on the brake job. Was the old grease that locked the caliper pin a petroleum-based grease or a some of that 3M/Permatex silicone caliper grease? You really set a new standard on cleaning caliper brackets. The nylon gun-cleaning brush on the drill was a hit; and thanks for supporting America's Brake Kleen industry - if they aren't a sponsor, they should be.

From a business perspective, you being a straight shooter is the way to go. This way the customer always knows where they stand. A properly done job is easy to defend and the customer will be back as well as the fact that in today's time, with social media, everybody knows what you are doing. Good or Bad. Keep up the great work!

Eric, Recently I had to change out a secondary air pump on 2004 4. 6 Northstar engine. The pump literally melted and there is no connector. What splicing connectors would you suggest? / Wet tight splice? Thank you.

Why is it ok to force fluid back into the master brake cylinder when compressing the piston back in the brake caliper. I wouldn't think the seals in the master cylinder would allow it without damaging them.

What did you spray on right before you put the tire back on at 15: 40? Is it to keep the tire rim from rusting onto the rotor? Yeah, I'm a break first-timer, and my victim is a 2002 Camry.

Here's a question, Would there be a problem with the proportional valve if your back brakes are wearing out faster than the fronts? (2003 GMC Yukon XL 4WD all Disc Brakes)

In 3M site says plastic-to-plastic, plastic-to-metal, plastic-to-rubber, rubber-to-rubber, and rubber-to-metal areas.
Pin and caliper is meta-metal no?

3M is the worst silicone paste ever made. You may as well have used boogers and sand, what are you trying to do get us all Killed.
