Old school! Straight up mechanical repair! Practically a working vacation -but featuring, eehh, Close enough, you might have to do some fine tuning aftermarket tolerances! Remembering back in the 'olden days' when you could send out your old radiator for a rebuild and get it back (true, usually in a couple of days, but bolted right up!

I am a thread expert. I ve literally tapped thousands of holes and removed hundreds of broken taps. I ve used everything from Tap Magic to 3 in 1 machine oil. Haven t really noticed much difference in any of it. It s normally the 200 pound gorilla that screws it up. I d certify Mr. O in tapping. threads.

When dealing with plastic radiators and other parts, you're supposed to use cinch clamps. With underhood temperature changes, they're designed to expand and contract to prevent breakage.
The worm clamps don't have such a capacity.

The reason there's more than one way to skin a cat, cause there is more than one kind of cat.
You got alley cat, you got calico cat, there's tom cat, tabby cat and house cats, there's whole lot of different cats.

I know the bottom radiator hose clamp on an 06 Pacifica is just the best thing ever to take off. I almost beat the windshield out with a ratchet after about 10 minutes of struggle and skin being ripped off

Nice job, my old 2001 Sentras radiator was similar, had an air lock in the heater core and ran the rpms to 2500 for 30-45 seconds and it burped. Keep the wrenches turning.

Wow. Never caught one so early. I m only up because of the hurricane currently tearing our place apart. I guess watching some SMA would help take some of the stress off.
